Black Ops is my favorite modern Call of Duty. Yes, I even prefer it over CoD4. Why? Juggernaut, Martyrdom and Last Stand. That's why.
"But what about Second Chance in Black Ops?" Yes, that was a fail as well.
Anyway, I'm really looking forward to Black Ops II. I really hope it will provide fun, because that's something I haven't had in a Call of Duty game in a long time.
I want Wager Matches!
And how many copies were actually SOLD?
That's what I'd love to see.
Boring. Gameplay -> graphics.
I'm honestly looking forward to Black Ops II. I really enjoyed Black Ops, despite some of its obvious flaws.
In my opinion Treyarch offers a better weapon and perk balance than Infinity Ward, despite Second Chance.
Honestly, I find that Black Ops had one of the best spawn systems. It's far from being perfect, but it wasn't bad.
Even though I have been spawn killed/trapped a LOT in Nuketown, it still had a better spawn system than any map in MW3.
Camping can never be fixed. Not in Black Ops 2, not in Battlefield, not in Team Fortress, not in Counter-Strike and so on...
I would agree that a game like Call of Duty encourages camping more than others, but it's still a common issue in any shooter.
"a Nintendo producer"
You have no idea who Miyamoto is, do you?
Those screens are not new.
Look, what I'm trying to say here is that it's way too early to say that we're getting "the same ol' shit" all over again.
I can understand why you're skeptical, so am I, but could we please hold off on the "OMGCALLOFDUTYAGAINWTFBBQ " until we've seen more about the game?
Treyarch is making the singleplayer more dynamic, the setting is completely new and the multiplayer could be revamped properly. We'll just hav...
"Obviously, BO2 does not address the complaints."
Really now? You were able to make that statement based on the MASSIVE amount of footage we've seen so far?
I'd like to have that talent as well.
I'm actually looking forward to Black Ops 2. Yeah, shoot me.
Well, I'm primarily talking about the PC version here, so dedicated servers are a must-have. I refuse to deal with the lag compensation MW3 had in P2P.
I don't necessarily agree with the longer life span, because Call of Duty 4 still has tons of servers, although I can't deny that's because they're free, as opposed to Black Ops' servers.
Black Ops' optimisation on PC was horrendous. Even with a beefy rig the game could still run li...
1. Ranked dedicated servers.
2. Good optimization.
3. Everything that Black Ops had, like Wager Matches, but even better.
4. A good weapon balance.
5. Free DLC.
CPU's for consoles are custom made and are by far not as expensive as standard, retail CPU's that we can purchase.
Don't overestimate the next generation, though. Various companies have mentioned that the graphical "jump" to the next generation won't be as big as the one we had in 2005.
I hope the next generation will focus on proper multitasking. With 16 cores that's more than possible. Each core can handle a specific task.
Too late, I'm afraid.
The game seems to sell extremely well, despite the harsh reviews. Either the critics are wrong or the fans just don't care.
I honestly lol'd. =')
I have no words to describe how blatantly obvious this is an April Fools' joke.
How the hell can one delay make Bioshock Infinite become a DNF?
People these days...
