Totally agree with you aviator. CryEngine 3 is by far one of the best engines and I'm really looking forward to what the indie studios can bring us with this engine

If you are talking about the shadows in 3D, they are fixed in patch 1.3 ;)
Tessellation good make wonders though, especially with regards to the LOD system, if developers put it in good use.

Totally agree. Othe studios would release extra quests (alongside the fixes) in a DLC to earn more money but not CD Projekt RED!

Hmmmmmm, SLI huh? I have a GTX295 and let me tell you that this SLI thing is a bit sh!tty with some games. Here is an example, Amnesia doesn't have any SLI profile even to this date. Even some games with SLI profiles, sometimes suffer from negative performance (like with FEAR3. Thank God Nvidia's support is good and they investigated when I reported this negative performance).
IMO, go for a really powerful single GPU (in your case, the 580). And when the time comes to...

My thoughts exactly. One thing is for sure though, indie devs attempt original ideas so I guess we should be thankful. Otherwise we wouldn't even have an option of a different - if only a bit rough around the edges - gaming experience.
