On top of that, there is a lot of pop-in according to a lot of PC gamers that got the game. So with no advanced graphics options, some of us will have to suffer from this issue :/

The difference is that Freddiew's is a CG video. 525Leomas' is an actual playable game running in real-time with UDK ;)

"While the fact that he didn't mention graphics specifically concerns me a little, everything else makes perfectly good sense - it's a TRUE beta (not a glorified demo...) and they need actual information to make the game better."

Quoted for truth. This is the meaning of the beta

true.dat. Still, Last Guardian might turn out to be quite an exciting game. Well... I hope so...

agreed on that mate, no game deserves that (well, I could say that DNF would deserve it since it was a sh!tty game and nowhere as cool as the 2001 E3 trailer)

Yeap, look at Driver: San Francisco for example (a game that had Ubisoft's always-online DRM and got cracked before its official release)

The European release is on October 7th

If they wanted a bunch of people to play it, they should not announce it at their official forums. Instead, they should simply PM those persons.

Plain and simple. If you publicly announce such things, everyone will find them out - one way or another.

Well you could say that for the Metro map and its Rush mode (that map is streamlined as there are not enough vehicles) but I'm sure there will be better maps with vehicles. And don't forget the Conquest mode that will be full of jets and vehicles.

Tell me one game (apart from ArmA series) with the MP scale and mayhem of the Caspian Border

Yeap, it was stated at CDPR Fall Conference that the extra X360 content will be made available to the PC via a patch when the X360 is out

There are also major changes in the combat mechanics (responsiveness while fighting will be fixed. Rejoice :D)

Well, it was to be expected. Playing nice and such :P

True.dat but when you throw in there and 3D Vision, it's pretty obvious that an optimized PhysX version would be ideal

Having tried both DDR3 and DDR2, I can assure you that there are no differences between them, especially when it comes to games (performance wise).

Let's hope that we won't struggle to find people that can actually co-operate this time around

i5 is from Intel ix series (new architecture) and that's why you get a nice performance. The fact that you get a nice performance due to raw power doesn't mean that the game is optimized.

Take a look at Hard Reset if you want to see great optimization. The difference between a dualcore and a quadcore is 16fps, not just 6fps.

Keep also in mind that in F1 2011, reflections are affecting the CPU instead of the GPU. It's hilarious that a graphical eff...

Well, we pretty much already knew that the PC version would be delayed (even though this is a rumor). Every Ubisoft game gets delayed after all :P

or "This is how Portal 3 should look like" (not from a graphical point of view) that is the article's title.

Typo when submitting :P
