@1.4
30????
lol
so far 170 games for the ps3.
"Hi to everyone who's been linked here from the wider Internet! Sadly, my poor little web server seems to be collapsing under the sudden linkflood, so the download links below probably aren't functional right now. I'm working on the problem, and should have mirror sites up soon! When alternate download links are ready to go, I'll link to them here."
and no he doesn't have any new links yet up
His project sounds Ambitious (probably overly so!)
Acquitted is different then charges stayed and case dropped. Which is what happened. Tecmo paid the employee off (and moved her to a different branch) to drop the case as it was embarassing to the company.
Seems silly to believe that... They are still with Sony if for no other reason then Sony has a 10% stake in SE... but they do have 3 other bigger investors that also have a say.
Sony will see this game - SE can't afford to avoid such a huge market and the PS3 is fast becoming the 2nd largest console worldwide.
and yet they kept him through:
+Sexual Harrasement suits
+Failed Games
+Continued abusive behaviour against subordinates
He was doomed to go at some time - better late then never.
Your right though more likely forced out.
In Japan they generally tell you they expect your resignation rather then say your fired. (fall on your own sword)
Exactly - this man is no angel by any stretch of the imagination.
"In addition, he made demeaning remarks about me to my subordinates and colleagues, causing me significant emotional distress and worsening my personal relationships and work environment. Thus, I have no choice but to resign from Tecmo Co., Ltd."
This by a man who runs down and insults his coworkers all the time...
Coworker Insulting Primadonna's need not apply at most game developers...
If he had the poise of Sid Meir or at least the skills of Gabe Newell maybe but he has neither.
Disagree if you want but the last 3 developers I worked for would NEVER hire such a corrosive worker. Hurts team play.
Well hopefully nowhere - When your Ego is greater then your Skill it's time to call it quits in the industry.
I really don't think most developers would want to hire Itagaki as his primadonna ways (and his pettiness in putting down coworkers) is not a poison most developers would want on the developmental floors...
you mean like Drake's? Oblivion? Fallout 3? Ratchet and Clank?
have it on pretty good authority that +/- 5 days sept 18th should give news on it
have no fear - it will come
most of the localization effort is already over and done with so the cost of bringing it is very low.
Expect to find out that Microsoft has some time left
sept 18 2008 would be my guess ^_-
Bladestar
your comments are unfair:
Kojima has never said he didn't like the X360 - in fact he has gone on record saying he wants to do a game on that platform
No one calls Valve a hater because they have stated that they work PC and X360 only GabeN otoh has been trashed because he trashing something he doesn't do.
All in all Itagaki is an ass -calling one of his proteges "a child who didn't do a good job" who in fact did a better version of ...
Read carefully what Bandai Said is all I can say.
They didn't say no - they said at this time.
Where oh where did you find the demo for Fatal Inertia EX?
GT5p != demo
more tracks then most racing games
more cars then most racing games
more features then most racing games
= a racing game in and of it's own right.
Sony did try to work with em... they were invited to join right at the beginning and throughout the format conflict.
Only real holdouts on BR were Toshiba and Microsoft see following list to see what I mean.
Blu-ray Disc Association Directors:
Apple Inc.
Dell Inc.
Hewlett-Packard Company
Hitachi, Ltd.
LG Electronics
Mitsubishi Electric
Panasonic (Matsushita Electric)
Pioneer Corporation
Royal Philip...
industry would still be split almost 60/40 for them
which does not a monopoly make. (90/10 otoh....)
EX is not the same game as the Xbox 360 version (and it is not released yet)
EX has:
+different controls
+different content
+different graphics
+different tracks
+different implementation of physics
so no - none have the game yet so it would be hard to give advice for EX
"So far the PS3's Sixaxis controller is the only thing that has motion-sensing functionality and it is only a shadow of what Nintendo's Wii Remote and nunchuck controller can manage."
The sixaxis controller is more accurate and much more sensitive then the Wii Remote... so what the hell are they talking about?
(.25mm and .0001m/s motion detection and velocity detection vs 1 cm and 1m/s detection on the wii mote)
