Yoshida-san, if you see the problem
FIX IT!
Hmm that is a complete reversal of stated direction if this is the case. The www.scedev.net information still says that you should be able to visit any region - but you are locked to spawning in your own on start up.
Do they want Huxley now that MAG is announced?
actually the direct quote you mention is * as it's translation is suspect.
When translated the meaning could be that the PS3 will launch in all regions outside Japan simultaneously when it releases and the same for the X360 when it releases.
They state straight up that the PS3 version released worldwide will not be held up for development of the x360 version in the same interview which suggests either that the x360 version will be complete at the same time as the PS3 version (un...
at the person who said they never heard of Zipper Interactive before.... wow
Ever heard of these games before?
Recoil
Top Gun
MechWarrior 3
Crimson Skies
SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs
SOCOM II: U.S. Navy SEALs
SOCOM 3: U.S. Navy SEALs
SOCOM U.S. Navy SEALs: Combined Assault
SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo
SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 2
actually I am glad Sony finally allowed Zipper to show this
and yes it can have all 256 in one battle.
* What is the timing of the releases?
Kitase: “As for the timing between US and Europe, we will try to make it as close as possible. Also, localization for US and Europe we will try to expedite as much as possible than the previous case.”
is he referring to both platforms or just the x360s release schedule as the questions were related to the x360 at the time he said that.
(this is as good of translation as I can give - I would have asked for clari...
"As evident by the huge outcry on gaming websites, blogs and forums - Square-Enix's announcement yesterday that FFXIII will be released simultaneously on the Xbox 360 and the PS3 "
that can't be the case because:

Wiimote does not measure Yaw properly
it uses a single ADXL330 to measure 3 axis motion
and trig functions in relation to m (fixed) and mi (distance to controller from sensor bar) as well as sensor orientation to determine pitch roll and forward and backward movement.
It has to use rough estimate yaw
The odds are that the wiimotion plus adds a second ADXL330 to that it can properly measure yaw and thus increase accuracy.
Difference is I know what I am talking about... it's obvious you do not.
Whatever anyway, it really doesn't matter as this is a good thing for Nintendo and gamers, It finally allows them to measure yaw properly and more accurately.Which means it finally is on par with the motion sensing of the Sixaxis. That's all good isn't it?
Blame Konami - they wanted it this way and they implemented it this way
Sony most definitely would have prefered a PSN sol'n (since they get a share of the profits that way)
to bad the argument they put up is fallacious in this case.
Obviously you need to try High Velocity Bowling, etc.
I know what I am talking about - I work with the hardware day in and day out- do you?
acceleration can be calculated from axial change (angular acceleration(Verlet_integratio n)) and even if it could not the 2x Kionix ICs that the Sixaxis use have the ability to measure acceleration. If you have pitch, yaw, roll (aka: sixaxis)(the wiimote does not sense yaw) you can calculate angular change over time. (only time you ...
Sony prefers not to pay for exclusivity
but SCEI will likely increase investment into SE to keep this from happening again.
wrong place* edit*
painful but true.
lol... IR makes it more capable as a motion sensor? I guess as a gun for games like Time Crisis it is more capable but for motion sensing IR is significantly less capable as it requires a viewport to a reference point whereas internal motion sensing is itself it's own reference point.
When there is huge hype about the game????
No real loss there...
Thought the concept was bad to begin with.
