I hope its ready soon because it must go gold in a few weeks. It looks great though. I am a huge fan of rpgs so its a welcome addition. It was regarded as a mix of Zelda and GoW. Let's throw in PoP & the ice theme harkens back to Zelda and how u got fire weapons for ice castles and vice versa. But I can't wait. There's a reason Zelda, GoW, & PoP are classics. Bring it on!!!!
Can all these companies just hold off on games like beyond, watch dogs etc. I game a lot and I own an Xbox and ps3 but no PC. I have debated getting one but I am waiting for next Gen specs to be announced because if I have a choice I would choose console because of all the friends I have and the stats I've accrued but I am getting tired of seeing the gap between the two. I am happy for PC gamers and I am content with what I am playing now but its gonna get ridiculous soon.

Please do not release on this Gen. Especially if the PC version is gonna b light years ahead. It looks so amazing and the idea of it being a sand box game is stunning. Yeah I want it as soon as possible but I want it as good as possible too. I'm probably wrong but let's hold off. We have plenty to play right now.
That is exactly what DICE said and I agree. The battlefield 3 campaign was generic and I was hoping more for the brilliant sandbox esque play style of bad company. Oh well. Here's to hoping they do something original...esque, lol.
It isn't fine that they are riding it out. Its fine in the sense that it eases my fear that they are abondoning great first party IPs like halo and gears used to be. Am I the only one who realizes that none of this is new. We knew about strike force and that it would b different depending on whether we win or lose. We knew about going into any soldier or equipment or pulling back for strategy and we knew about zombies. Here's more new info. The zombies is gonna be bigger and better and part of multi player screen. Also, muliplayer may be changing its system to points so you can have more customization and focus on choosing what u want.
Battlefield is on the heels of CoD and I can't wait for 4 on next Gen. Now, if this game is marketed well to all those that can't get enough of battlefield, it can be the treyarch to DICE for EA. They have to b careful that they don't compete with themselves. Maybe offer an early demo or perks for battlefield premium members. I hope they don't simply settle for the generic fps player as a filler. Its a great franchise and a great testing ground for what EA wants as they tackle...
There will be a long beta test I hope. As far as visuals, it did look more cartoon than I imagined. If it is coming along more to look like sky rim, I wonder if kits will b available and modding encouraged. Imagine an memo that looks like skyrim at high settings with many of the wonderful mods. Considering the late start, the high price point, the lack of halo and gears, the problems Japan and Sony have suffered, it is pretty remarkable and a testament to quality that the ps3 is so strong. I have not had so much fun with an RPG in so long. It makes the long hours at work fly by so I can get home and play. It harkens back to the old school template of getting stronger so u can fight bigger monsters. That, and as he said, every quest is a journey unto itself. Great game.
Yeah, that is definitely next Gen. I know these are running on PC just like unreal engine 4 but there r plenty of games to close out this Gen. Please do not try and put these games on this Gen with a huge difference between PC and console. Even on PC, u would have to run high settings to get the best benefit. Just wait and launch with them.
This is one of 3 games I am looking most forward to. I used to pre order everything until sky rim, kingdoms, ME3, the witcher 2 & dragons dogma have me buried. I want to pre order this. But do I have to decide how I wanna play before and choose accordingly. I don't like it unless its all offered eventually.
It is very true though recently I have had to take a step back. No more hours of nonsense, chasing down an elusive trophy. I had to choose between trophy/achievement or missing out on great games.
That being said, I love having them there as an extension to the game. For example, FF13 was linear until u beat it. Then it opened up and was a lot of fun. But if there were no trophies, there would a been no outline to continue, no reason to keep playing. It would be weird to play...
I agree. At first I thought that maybe it would be a great idea and then I thought of all the reasons why I wasn't having as much fun in other rpgs. This is one of them. U don't need to catch up but u need to make sure that those who love Nintendo and buy the wiiu do not go buy another system. This means having Netflix, Facebook, and all the essentials. A browser would be great. If u do this, the casual gamer won't look elsewhere. Hardcore gamers are already invested in pan and xbl. U won't be moving them.
