Yeah, when no one pays subs, it goes free to play, and then the nightmare t ruely begins.
Trust me, for a game that will offer 100's and thousands of hours over the next yrs, its worth the monthly sub to keep content coming.
Seriously, go play a f2p game and come back. U will think differently. Microtransactions ruin everything and ultimately cost much, much more.
Its just odd gow console players will drop $60 for a game that lasts 8 hrs ...
Its the most played game by trophy hunters...thats for sure!
It made me think. If u want to make a few bucks. Throw together a game with the easiest plat known and it may sell a few copies.
I think that Henning left b/c they got rid of Richards. Who knows? Stig left b/c they canceled his project I assume.
The other departures dont bother me. They came after the successful launch of the PS4 and at the end of the fiscal year. It seems to be just about the time someone would leave to move on to better things, or at least new things.
Its a trend right now with Cliffy B., and Levine (stayed but restructured). Bowling is making Human Element. Sometim...
In an unrelated story, Nintendo boughtxbox and he will run that too.
Nuh huh...its coming to PS4, so the last of us to play the Last of Us is yet to come.
Nice title though.
Looks promising. Hopefully the story remains. I hate hearing that the best characters didnt fit in the game or they wrote a story to work in a game. Too many compromises can be bad. I remain optimistic.
What I hate is that u already know before u begin exactly what choices u r going to make, thus there is no thought or tough decisions...its simply blue or red.
That and the evil side makes no sense. What would u start killing innocent ppl as soon as u get to seattle...or at all? It should have been more like Mass Effect...in which u r vengeful or mean spirited but still aim to get the job done.
Exactly. Fix the combat and climbing.
Combat is just boring...and easy.
Im not a big fan of enemies dying after awhile. At the very least, they should reappear once u reach the next bonfire. But I guess u wouldnt be able to use an aesthetic if it did.
I wonder how many ppl totally screwed themselves with these aesthetics? Using them over and over until it was so damn difficult and irreversible.
I was disappointed with Second Son b/c I loved the sandbox and the powers so much. Now, if they had given us something to do with them. There is basically a story and thats it. The only other thing u get is 5 absurd repetitive moments.
Now, I am sure there is some dlc coming to allow us to use these powers but...until then...
Rage was amazing for its time...just gorgeous. And for 3/4 of the game, it was actually good too.
Anyway, obviously they wont run at the same resolution or he would have said that. Actually, highlighting similar animation is a way of assuring xbone players that it will still look and run well at whatever resolution its at.
I am perplexed though. MS should take the kinect off and add ddr5 ram. And sell the kinect separately. Actually, its what they should have...
Agree completely. This is the ending chapter to 3 Bioshock games, c'mon. To be honest, it isnt really that hard to follow, since u already know that u r not supposed to know exactly what is happening while u play. Trying to figure it out as u go is half the fun.
The combat harkened back to bioshock 1 and 2 for me in which there was a camera and video camera...and I strategized making perfect runthroughs. The only thing missing was the instant save.
Pt. 2. Where'S part 3?
A missed opportunity sums it up...but only to a degree. Its true that it's short and shallow, not much going on, and the evil side makes no sense.
But, it does accomplish what early gen games must...show us what is possible with the new hardware. Its beautiful and the future is bright.
I do believe that even if its a rental, every ps4 owner should at least ec experience the visuals, smooth frame rate, astonishing power set, and great combat.
It is a bit insane that the ps4 is selling so well despite having nothing to play on it...unless u love dcuo or warframe. Wait until the exclusives and multi platforms start rolling out. Then MS is gonna have to cut the price even further.
They should have sold a $400 kinect less machine, then announced it atb this years E3.
8 gb of ddr5 vs. Ddr3 ram...nuff said.
I will get an xbone at some point cuz I loved them both last gen. But unless u LOVE kinect, it will be a long time and the price will have to be $50-100 cheaper to be worth purchasing over a ps4.
Kinda like when ppl told me the 360 was cheaper. I had to pay for gold, for wireless adapter. I had to by their harddrive with an adapter. Cost a damn fortune.
Heres the kicker though. The PS3 was the more powerful machine...and the gap between the PS4 and xbone is even bigger. So, it isnt a better deal. I dont want a camera. Instead I got another controller. And guess what, PS4 will also have bundles and price cuts...but the xbone will never have ddr5 ram.
Its irrelevant if the xbone gets cheaper or includes a game. They will be taking a bigger loss in hopes that they can recoup later. Also, it opens the window for Sony to use a price drop next yr to even further outsell them.
If MS were smart, they would have used 8gb of ddr5 ram and sold for $400 just like Sony...without the Kinect. Then tell everyone about thenew amazing kinect that they r working on. Soend another yr and reveal at e3 2014 and let ppl choose to buy it.
If it does then Sony is sleeping at the wheel. The hardware will always have a significant advantage. Yes, optimization will help xbone get better...but it will also help Sony. Lets not forget what their studios have been able to do with more similar hardware.
Exactly. We so quickly come to the defense of a company when the joke is on them, but laugh at all the jokes that are played on us every yr. Yeah, I am talking to u valve.
