Doesn't affect me in the slightest! Why? Because I haven't bought an EA game for 10 years! Friends don't let friends buy EA games!
Sorry, but you are the one who doesn't understand...and you shouldn't be name calling when YOU are the one who is uninformed! The MAXIMUM frame rate a television will allow for an input is 60hz! 120hz and 240hz sets do one of two things...
If you have the "Clear Motion" (or whatever each individual manufacturer calls it), it will compare each incoming frame and "interpolate" additional frames to go in between the existing frames. In other words,...
The only way they will get 1080p/60fps is by lowering the graphic detail. I have no doubt they can do it, but it will probably look like a 360 game to get that resolution and framerate.
Halo is a TIRED FRANCHISE. They have no creative juice left in it, they are just milking it to death. Here's a little hint, when the CREATORS bail on the series (or are forced out), you should bail too.
12 year olds everywhere are really excited! Everyone else...not so much.
I agree! It's not a subtle difference, and a video doesn't convey the impact as much as actually playing a game does! This shouldn't even be up for debate...OF COURSE 60fps is important! The only ones who are arguing otherwise are the sad fools who bought a console not capable of both 1080p resolution and 60fps!
Friends don't let friends buy EA games.
rats, sinking ships, and all that...
Can we just get a 50% reduction in DX12 hype please?
Nothing in the "leak" sounds exciting in the least. If this is the best MS has to offer, they are going to get whupped by Sony at E3 (again!).
You know the great thing about these "remastered" PS4 editions? I never played the originals! I have yet to play Tomb Raider, and I have yet to play "Last of Us". So, to me, being able to experience these games for the very first time on a next generation platform is a real big win! I am sure others are out there who are like I am and haven't yet played these games, and who will buy these as soon as they are released! I am very much looking forward to the experien...
There are hacks to get an HDMI output from the Vita...but I don't feel like soldering. Personally, I am hoping they DO announce a VitaTV in the US market at E3...and hopefully with a DS4 instead of the DS3 that has been shipping with the Japanese version.
Doesn't anyone remember the original arguments? Xbox fanbois were saying that ESRAM would make up for not having GDDR5...and it didn't. Then it was the DEVELOPERS fault for not fully taking advantage of the consoles "hidden power"! Now DX12 is going to SAVE THE DAY! Sorry guys, but there is no magic GPU fairy that is going to visit your console and somehow make it more powerful than the competition.
Overhyped game. Watch this think stink like yesterday's garbage once reviews come in.
Don't like "insider" news articles? Quit reading them and commenting on them.
What I get from all of the chatter is that Xbox fans are pissed. Their precious game, which gave them such a feeling of superiority, is going multiplatform, and will probably run better and look better on the PS4. So there goes the "better games" argument for them.
It's too bad for fans of Microsoft, really...I mean, when market forces show them that they picked the wrong console, what's a fanboy to do? (besides whine on N4G forums, I mean)
@ats1992 I know more than you do about the subject.
@JeffGUNZ Don't know if you read the same earnings report I did, but Xbox has NEVER made a profit. NOT EVER.
In Putin's Russia, only Putin is allowed to F*** you!
Best quote: "PS4 hands down. The Xbox One devkits are crappy and the software stack is a stupid moving target. they are a software company so they will fix that, but currently it’s just pain."
