The part that gets me is that they RESET Notoriety to zero! Why can't they just "freeze" your Notoriety level if you want to play online? (or let your girlfriend play without trashing your game) If this is really how it works, I won't be buying the game.

By the way, the reason you won't see DX12 outperform Sony's PS4 is that the PS4 ALREADY HAS a "low level" API that is very similar to what MS is trying to accomplish with DX12. So keep feeding your misplaced delusional fanboy dreams...the rest of us have already moved on.
I latched onto downloading my games first with Microsoft. I bought into the whole concept of the "XBL Arcade" games, and bought MANY of them...several were better that so called "AAA" games, including "Bionic Commando Rearmed", and "Castle Crashers".
Later I started buying more games (and playing more) on my PS3...but I continued to buy a lot of these "indie" games. I kept avoiding buying the "AAA" titles, preferri...
I don't know about everyone else here, but I am SICK TO DEATH of Microsoft promising better performance with "The Cloud" (TM)! If you have some "secret sauce", dont talk about it, SHOW IT! SHOW US and PROVE that this nonsense actually works! Until I see an actual game that uses it in a MEANINGFUL WAY (in other words, NOT Titanfall!), I refuse to believe one bit of this PR hype!

What is really striking to me is that MS just BLINDSIDED Rare with the Kinect announcement! You would think, that given their close relationship, MS would at least have the decency to let the company know what they were up to prior to cutting them off at the knees! One more reason not to support Microsoft's misguided efforts in console gaming!
My guess? It will be the first time in E3 history that a company kills off their game console LIVE due to poor sales!
Halo is really exciting...for 12 year olds. Seriously, log on to ANY Halo game and THAT is who you are playing with. It will take more than a bastardized franchise being perpetuated long past it's prime (and the departure of the creators) to save the Xbox 180.

Newsflash, the console is STILL a disaster. Now they have a GAME CONSOLE instead of a multimedia platform...which is what gamers really wanted in the first place. Only problem is that as a game console, it's still less powerful and has fewer games than the competition, while it's at the same price point.
