No mystery...the numbers don't include digital download sales. I buy all of my titles online...I am sure many other PS4 owners do as well.
Oh goodie! Another tired franchise being milked past it's prime! Someone said earlier that if Gears was tired, so was God of War...I agree, just for the record.

Gamer-40, don't be ignorant. The top 10 games are all multiplatform. EVERY...SINGLE...ONE. Infamous: Second Son is only on ONE platform, the PS4. It was the best selling game for "Next Generation" consoles...yes, it outsold Titanfall ON THE XBOX ONE alone! Titanfall still outsold Infamous, as did the other 9 titles, because they are available on multiple platforms with a larger user base (Minecraft for the 360 being the lone exception..but the install base of the 360 dwarfs...

They just announced Halo 5 for "Fall 2015". Why didn't they wait until E3 to announce this? Desperation. They want to give people SOME reason to buy an underpowered console...even if they have to wait 1 1/2 years for it's release!

So, less than 30,000 consoles a week, in their BEST market! LOL THIS is why they are unbundling Kinect. It's their last gasp here, folks. When it continues to tank, even after Halo 2 remaster is announced, then the fanbois out there might finally admit that the console is doomed...but I ain't holding my breath for that one!
Since VGChartz overtracked in NA by so much, makes me wonder exactly how bad they did in Europe!
Sorry, but with the Kinectless version announced, the Xbox 1 just went from "THE FUTURE OF GAMING!!!" to just another game console...one that is the same price as the competition, but with inferior performance. MS is going to get OWNED at E3.

Sorry, but I LOATHE everything the MS stands for at the moment. From advertising on the 360s dashboard (coming soon to an Xbox 180 near you!) to their pushing "Metro" down everyone's throats...to them pushing you to "Bing" and other MS services on their console. Aside from the general rage I feel at Microsoft for things like this, then they flat out LIE to their customers..."Xbox One HAS to have always online DRM, it's part of the system, it can't be rem...

Nope. Sorry, but it's not just that I am "lazy" or can't get off the couch. If I really wanted to, I could order from Amazon and select same day delivery, and have the game in less time than it takes me to download. The reason I buy digitally,is because I never have to worry about losing the game, scratching a disc, having someone (like my brothers) "borrow" the game, etc. Once purchased, I can ALWAYS redownload the titles I have purchased, and if my PS3 fails ...
You kind of made the point about sales in your own post. If a $450 bundle WITH Kinect and WITH their most popular game didn't move the needle, why would anyone expect a stripped down version to sell more? If anything, this is going to prove to people that MS has no earthly idea what they are doing, and push people to the PS4. After all, if you have $400 to spend, would you spend it on the underpowered Xbox 180 or the more powerful PS4?
That's assuming the console is still being sold next year.
If these titles are the best MS can do, they are in trouble!
First step: Remove foot from mouth.
