Why is Ubi owed an Apology? Infamous hits 1080p, 30fps easily. Ubi basically admitted to holding back one version "to avoid debates and stuff"... Then they back tracked by trying to appease the audience with excuses.
The marketing deal with MS and the game being touted to that platform probably is the reason. Most games run at 1080 on PS4, while most run at 900 on X1... That is fact anyway you slice it.

My friends list was slow, but messages were okay, with invites being super fast.
Now my messages get stuck at 97% when sending. When receiving, I get them like 20 to 30 mins after they have been sent.
My internet and connection to the network is fine though.
I hope this fixes the messaging system. This has been slow for me since the update... Like really slow.
Please fix the core game first, the PS+ edition and THEN maybe talk about DLC.

Yes I understand. I only used Destiny as an example really. I'm not praising the game in any way, as I know there are short falls.
But I don't believe reviewers hold all FPS games to the same standards. Another good example is BF4. The game took a good few months to work properly online, yet the reviews were good and done in a closed environment.
Any other game would get destroyed. Just my opinion. I have not played it yet to make a complete jud...
What i want to know is what makes this less repetitive than FPS games that get marked down for repetitiveness? Most COD buyers don't care about the Campaign and will sink several hundred hours into the Multiplayer. So how is it less repetitive than Destiny for example which scored much lower? I'm not saying Destiny should be a 9 because it's too content light but i would like to know why some FPS games get away with it while others are penalised for it

When they need to push, they will. The PS4 is domininat right now. Let's see if MS takes Nov and how Sony reacts. Not to mention the games in Q1 next year that Sony has incoming.
My last COD was World At War. I have yet to return to the franchise.
the only issue I have is the messaging and notifications. These run way too slow.

You fail to see logic and what is being discussed...its pushing both consoles to the limit, and not limiting one as a result of a marketing deal or money. Ms and Ubi will advertise the game on X1, yet the PS4 may be able to do 1080p. Parity rather than the best on each. This is made clear with the whole "to avoid debates and stuff"
If you play on PC and adjust resolutions upwards from 720, 900 and 1080, there is a positive difference every time. On a TV it's eve...
Why don't you post your PSN? I think you haven't even played a PlayStation. Secondly the PS2, PS3 and PS4 has more games than anything MS has or had. With more coming.

Uncharted, Blooborne, and the multitude of first party studios says hello. Clearly you didn't own the PS3 titles that are industry benchmarks for story telling and creation.
Seems like you know nothing of other Kind of games either... Diversity is essential, not just western shooters
MS didn't just not produce games at the end of the 360 era, they didn't in the whole life cycle. They instead focused on buying content first, exclusive add ons and advertising deals.
For the X1 what has been produced by first party studios except Forza? Again it's buying 2 and 3rd parties. This is their business model.
And its that way on other BIG shooters... COD, BF, etc. KZ2 had the best campaign so far in my opinion.

I dont think Unity looks better than Infamous. Espcially in the recent screenshots. The character models look poor with little detail, while the environments look great. Infamous had both looking really good.
Now keep in mind these are from recent screenshots. The E3 gameplay looked amazing (including the characters)... but so did WatchDogs, and looked what happened there.
