Sony showed more variety and more new IPs. Plus way better Indies.
Titan Fall didn't do it... a main stream shooter, from a well known developer and even bigger publisher and budget. Would Tomb Raider do it? I doubt it.
Also, I guess outselling the PS4 with Halo, Gears and Tomb Raider in those months of release is enough right? Don't be silly... That's what, 3-4 months of sales over several months of a consistent lead?
Meanwhile VG Chartz has Sony's world wide sales as 9.3 million. Talk about serious under tracking.

So rather taking that money and using it to make new games, MS instead is restricting access to an already existing game. Nice one. As usual Sony shows large variety, while MS shows COD, and buys third parties.
Microsoft brings nothing to this industry other than dump trucks of money. They're in the video game industry for all the wrong reasons. Making and selling video games is a secondary part of the business model and that has been the case from day one.
Hell Blade seems like a play on the words Heavenly Sword. I know its not a sequel, but the female holding that blade looks a lot like Nariko's sister (Kai). Could she be trying to bring her back with a different blade?
Just s a thought. I know Sony owns the HS IP, and that this game isn't exclusive.

Sony had more new games... both AAA and Indies. They also had way more timed and fully exclusive games.
MS, as usual buy third parties... even though the game ran better and looked better on the competing platform. Notto mention sold better. Tomb Raider doesn't add anything to X1 owners. It's been done just to sell systems.

Umm... this doesn't seem to be the original idea behind the X1 though. At least not the way it was sold. MS made it look like it was services and an all-in-one device first, with games.
Hence the state of back tracking.

Fact remains... In every country that the X1 is in, including MS's dominant markets, the PS4 is selling more. NPD and other countries' numbers confirms this.

What planet are you living on? VG have always adjusted their numbers to match the NPD. The only time they are close is with this adjustment.
Everytime VG had the X1 leading they had to adjust. Like with the TitanFall lauch and the lower priced SKU.

VG Chartz always adjust their numbers to match the offical announced ones. They are off by quite a bit, and quite regularly. For instance, they had the X1 at 5 million sold about 3 times now, only to lower it under that mark.
They had the X1 North America sales higher than the PS4 when TitanFall launched, then again with the price drop. Infact they had this way off for about 4 months.
If they are wrong about their console numbers, with massive adjustments.....

I don't trust anything EA related with the word subscription attached.
If this was on PS I wouldn't subscribe. But that's just me.
Actually PS+ is far superior because consumers get six games, some with cross play, cross buy and cross save. The games MS are offering and the discounts were all previously offered by PS+ on the PS3, when comparing 360 games that is.
They are comparable this gen because this gen has just started. Don't forget the big games offered on the PS3, like Bioshock, Saints Row, etc.
In my opinion much better value and service. I haven't even mentioned vita ...
PSNow will eventually offer games across 3 generations. Not only is a subscription model defeating the purpose of games with Plus, it also means stacking subscriptions if other publishers start to do the same.
If you read the fine print of the service, there are some limitations of the service, where your 10% discount expires and so on. I'll let you read it for yourself.

PS now Prices are set by the publishers, not Sony.
PS+ still offers better value. 6 games across 3 platforms.
MS is doing this because games with gold is poor. Secondly, more EA money hatting and partnerships.

My weapon of choice fully upgraded had an attack damage of 62. This weapon here has a good rate of fire but low impact.
My favourite gun is the Cyndonia-AR3. 3 times the impact, with only a third less fire rate :)
Still have not found the gun from my Alpha though. I believe its now a level 9 gun.
I know its a weather comparison, but Forza looks kinda last gen in that video.
