Little Big Planet has the potential to be the biggest game this holiday season. The only thing necessary to cement this as reality is a price drop on the PS3. Even without a price drop though, this game will still sell very well.
Just because you can beat MGS4 in 5 hours doesn't mean the game is short. You can beat Super Mario Bros. in 5 minutes, doesn't that make it shorter? This game is great. The only bad thing about it right now is a few bugs and that people are getting way too much credit for using the templates.
It won't be big just in Japan. The first thing I did with my Sackboy was make him headbang and that was before I even really got to play any of the game.

Actually, I was referring to the ability to use any 2.5" SATA HD or any Bluetooth headset or any webcam on the PS3 rather than buying MS branded accessories for the 360.
Sony has stated that the penetration for HDTVs is not high enough to warrant putting in HD cables. Yes they cheaped out. The difference between the PS3 and the 360 is that for the most part, you can use anything for the PS3 while the 360 requires you to buy prorietary accessories at a ridiculous markup.
What accessories for the PS2 are you talking about? The HDD that almost no one used? The Eyetoy which was designed to be an offshoot and a new means of interacting with games? The vertical stand?
