People have lost their minds when it comes to HHG. Yes that site does produce a lot of flamebait titles and articles, but this isn't one of them. It simply asks if MAG will do what Halo did and revolutionize shooters on consoles. How is that flamebait? Now, retarded fanboys might turn it into a flamewar, but that doesn't mean that this is a flamebait article. It makes no distinction about which is better or worse. It clearly gives the Halo franchise credit for bringing shooters firmly onto co...

That's pretty much the same mechanic as the first RDR, isn't it? With the exception of it being for the quick draw battles rather than for firing. You would pull back on the right stick to prep your draw and then push forward to aim. It was a pain in the ass, especially with inverted controls. It's not a horrible idea, but it would be too much to do with the right stick possibly. I think a trigger and a button press for c0cking the hammer might work as well. That way you can hold down the tri...

And how well did those games sell? Since when is metroid for adults, wasn't it rated teen? And just because they have M rated games doesn't mean they are good. Also, the point he was trying to make is that out of about 400 games for the Wii, maybe 10-15 are rated M.

If you weren't a moron you would realize that casual games sales primarily occur a Chritmas, which is a period of 2 months. The rest of the year is carried on the backs of hardcore gamers. What do you think keeps those companies in business for the rest of the year, happy thoughts? So rugrats sold 6 million copies, know what that proves? That a lot of parents and other relatives bought it for little kids to play. But you don't take into account that that was probably the only game purchased b...

That niche group you belittle is what keeps the games industry alive. What you forget is that before the Wii, All consoles needed the hardcore to make money as it is the hardcore that buys the most games. The hardcore niche buys on average at least 10-20 games a year while the casual crowd only buys 1-4 and those are usually gifts at Christmas. The Wii is making a fvckton of money, but the fanbase that kept Nintendo alive up to the time the Wii released is now feeling like an ex-girlfriend dr...

Saying that Nintendo will disappoint at E3 is like saying the sun is going to come up tomorrow. Everybody knows this regardless of whether or not they want it to happen.

I may be wrong about how long the problems persisted with the PS2. I personally only remember hearing about it for about the fisrt 6-12 months after launch. And I know Sony was sued over it. I personally never had any problems with any PS2 I owned, but that's not to say that no one else did.

"Nobody is saying because ps2 had problems it makes up for 360's problems, thats just stupid but what we are saying is the concept is the same, the company does its best to fix 'em and...

I assume you're referring to my comment. I've been around since the NES and Genesis days. 2+ years? Maybe for you. I knew about it before I bought my first PS2 and was smart enough to not use it as a DVD player. That's the thing people forget is that Sony told people that excessive use as a DVD player would damage the drive and people still did it anyway, which is why they were able to get away with not repairing it for free. I'm not saying it was right, just that's the way it was. So yes for...

People love to bring up the PS2 like it's justification for the 360 crapping out, but they forget the details.

The DRE problem with the PS2 was an issue for only about 6 months to a year. It was caused by people being amazed by DVD and using their PS2s to watch movies alot. The DVD drive in the launch PS2s were not meant to be constant play drives and the excessive use burned them out quickly. Sony replaced the original DVD drives with upgraded ones and the problem was ended. ...

It's funny how they disagree with you. Maybe they will buy the games for you?

Wow, what a complete dumbass. The guy is pissed because Sony wants money to fix his PS3 after 15 months of use. Obviously the retard doesn't realize that there is usually only a 90 day warranty on any product of this type. Then he compares Sony to MS as if 1 in 100000 is anything like 1 in 10. When mine died, and it was because the HDD capped out, not the PS3, I just went back to Best Buy and replaced it with my warranty from them. It's not that hard. Too bad this post won't make it out of pe...

Maybe, but it really depends on your definition of "game". Then again, maybe #4 applies. I really thought the first one was a dead give away. Another hint is : It's fvcking, stupid.

The author could've saved everybody so much time just by saying: "Cuz I fvcking say so!" and been done with it. The "article" isn't that much longer anyway, and that is the translation of what he said.

I call bullshit on this list. The greatsest game of all time is nowhere on that list. I guess the list really was made by dumb teenagers.

As for the greatest game of all time, here are some hints:

1. It's always co-op(At least. Bonus points for 3 players.)

2. It can be played anywhere and on any 'system'.

3. It's a hell of a lot better than COD4.

4. If you can't figure it out, you haven't played it yet.

Isn't there only 1 360 exclusive? And barring that the list is thrown off by having WiiSports on the list, doesn't the Wii, DS, PS2, XBox, GBA all have more exclusives than the 360 on that list? And unless, I'm mistaken, the PSP, PS1, and the original Game Boy all have the same number of exclusives on the list, don't they? But all that doesn't matter because the 360 has one and the PS3 has none.

Walk tall.

The first game botched almost everything up, especially the story. It would've been so much better if they had just done weird sh1t throughout the game and at the end reveal that it was the animus. It was fun but they could've made it so much better. Besides what the fvck was up with those unskippable cutscenes after you stabbed the targets in the throat? Last I checked having a dagger in your larynx didn't make someone chatty.

Sony is not losing touch with gamers. Sony just had a different plan than MS and Nintendo. Their plan was to win the next-gen disc battle and they did. That alone will give Sony so much revenue that it will make up for any revenue lost right now simply because more people watch movies than play games. Sony is now focusing on the games aspect of the PS3 now that Bluray is the next standard.

As far as those features that 360 fanboys crow about are concerned, I personally couldn't...
