Yes actually, Sony should publish for MS and Nintendo. Why? Because it's not exactly a system seller. Even if the game is really good, nobody is going to rush out and buy a PS3 just to play it. An even better reason is that platform holders (i.e. MS & Nintendo) have to pay licensing fees to the publisher. That means MS and Nintendo would be paying Sony to have the game on their systems. I'm not sure the game is big enough for MS and Nintendo to be willing to pay a competitor for a game.
I think you mean to tell people to get their degree in Business, not economics. Economics has nothing to do with the managemaent of a company, at least not in the way you seem to be suggesting. Otherwise, you are correct.

Trophies have an advantage due to the leveling system and the 4 tiers of trophies. Which is something I don't understand, he calls bronze trophies useless and 5G acheivements great; It's funny that he can't seem to comprehend that they are the same thing. Especially in multiplatform games.

There were rumors for a while that FF XIII was jumping ship. Also the fact that SE hasn't released a game for the PS3 yet, was another big hint. And what about the rest of the stuff MS announced? Nobody cares about those games, they only remember MS "stealing" FF XIII. When the reason you "won" E3 is because you got a rival's game to go multiplatform, that does not reflect well on your presentation.
As long as Sony has solid dates for it's lineup and most (hopefully all) are this year, they will do fine. Also, playable GOW3 and a decent trailer for team Ico wouldn't hurt. Otherwise MS will have a shot. Nintendo can only "win" (the Hardcore) if they bring out a new Zelda or an actual Metroid, or hell even a new IP that isn't a gimmick like Madworld. I'm not saying that madworld is bad, just that on any other console people wouldn't have made such a big deal about it and the viol...
I see your point, but that is MS as a whole, not necessarily their games division.
People are acting like this is something huge. And in a way it is, however, suppose there isn't a new console generation for another 6 years. Think about it, with all the current gen consoles having access to the internet and firmware updates, the need to update the hardware as often is lessened.
Also, what does MS (or Sony) gain by releasing a new console in a few years? Not that much really. It will be too early for Digital distribution as a delivery means, so that leaves eit...

That is a very ignorant thing to say. When MS first came up with achievements, no one knew if they would work or even catch on. After it became apparent that achievements were becoming popular, Sony made adjustments. You act like achievements were golden from the very beginning when that is just not the case...
This list is almost kind of worthless because it all depends on what your parameters for violence are. I mean Fallout 3 could be on that list especially with the Bloody Mess perk. There body parts flying everywhere. It's a good list, just debatable on what could or should be on it.
THe source I was referring to was in the writeup for the article, not his opinion of what games are good. The difference is that this is "supposed" to News 4 Gamers, not random bullshit for gamers. Also there are forums to pst things like this. This is not the venue for debates like this as far as this site is structured.

What the hell is wrong with people? This site is getting out of hand. This is a no-name blog talking about what games he thinks you should get for your PS3. If this was somebody like N'Gai Croal or somebody from 1up or IGN or anyone else who's an actual journalist, that would be worth posting. And why did no one else report this for bad editing as he didn't quote the source.
