Not to be contrary, but Kunshan is technically right. A "prequel" is a sequel that takes place earlier than the original. There is the original and the sequel. The one before the sequel is not automatically a prequel.

COD:MW2 will sell because COD is like Halo and GTA and Madden. It's the name that everyone recognizes, even people who don't play games that often. Yeah it will be good, but it's the name recognition that gets the sales. That's why Activision mad IW put the COD name back on it.
