advertising in game is a great way to make games more profitable for developers. I can see sport games and kid friendly games getting ads, but i wonder who is going to be ballsy enough to advertise in mature games and risk their reputation. Think about coca cola advertising in gta, with its cop killing, car stealing, hooker sexing ways. Its no worse than advertising for a mature tv show or movie, but because its a game and "interactive violence" it makes it that much more "immo...

I guess they dont realize that Konami sets the price it sells the game to the store and then the store sets the price they sell to the consumer. Konami gets its money no matter what price the stores wants to sell the game for. So actually the store would be losing money, not konami and the store is only losing money assuming these are new and not used.
ive already beat the game and sold it back to gamestop, along with gta4 to reserve soul calibur 4. It was a fantastic game. More interesting and less repetitive than gta4, which i didnt bother to finish.

yeah, you need to go read some history. Nintendo and Sony were going to do a joint venture and call it the nintendo playstation. Nintendo wanted to stay with cartridges and sony wanted to go with discs. Nintendo dumped sony and did their own thing. The N64. Sony kept their idea and made the playstation. That ended up costing nintendo the final fantasy franchise. Final Fantasy wanted to do games on discs and not cartridges. So they dumped nintendo for sony.
when the ps3 become fully divx certified, microsoft followed and became partially compatible.

Also if you paid any attention to e3, microsoft is going after the nintendo casual gamer markert.
All 3 companies do things to entice people to join their legions. Sometimes it advances the gaming market and sometimes it hurts it.
thats a good 100-300 hours worth of gameplay.
