you might consider the fact that sony may be finalizing how to regulate the content on littlepigplanet. They need to have a good plan to deal with the first porn, racist, sexist, hateful level that comes out so to avoid bad publicity. I guarantee youll be checking out levels online by christmas.

This is something i worry about for this game. Inappropriate material overshadowing the truly creative levels. When this game goes public and theres all these levels about porn and racism its going to gather negative publicity. Thats probably why level sharing isnt going to be available at launch. Sony is probably still working on how to regulate inappropriate material.
i wonder if in their road show to dev teams they informed them that the psp has one analog nub and not two. So quit trying to make games that really need two to be any good. I am tired of this mindset that you cant make good games with one analog nub.
I can tell the psp is in a slump for good games when i havent pirated a game in months. There hasnt been anything that really excites me in a while. The problem with the quality of games is the lack of innovation. We are too quick to say "this game would have been better if the psp would have had another analog." Well it doesnt have one, so why keep trying to force games that need another analog to play well. Innovate and you will get away from ps2 ports.

I assume they having to do this to keep all the contributing companies happy. the drm struggle will end one day and policies can be changed easily. I would think that this service should be geared more towards renting anyways. And if they ever add flash 9 support or if you get playon you can watch hulu and not need to buy tv shows.
its only the best business model if microsoft pays your salary. otherwise as a consumer you are getting pounded in the butt and made to like it. They will bleed you dry ,stop supporting your console, and then force you to upgrade only to start the process over.

Nintendo went with a low end machine that was profitable from the beginning. They also dont have their hand in other industries to cover their loses so it makes sense.
Microsoft is at the production cost cut stage of their console. They are now competitive on both market fronts. They have the low priced arcade version for the wii people who dont know any better. And their high-end is competitive with sony's lower priced machine. They are almost running a build-your-console business.

I am impressed with their efforts in working out the kinks for this beta. They have kept people well informed in the log in screen on socom and they have delivered updates when they say they would. I also like that they have adjusted things based on user feedback. Excellent support and customer service at no additional cost.
Now if only people would take the time to post their complaints and suggestions on the socom beta message board instead of crying here.

it wasnt just europe. Two weeks into owning the game, i spent over an hour one night trying to get connected to a game. The next day i traded it in to gamestop, haven't looked back. Id rather play Warhawk or RFOM any day.
