@DirtyPimp
Also 720p on PS4. You seem to have forgotten that tiny detail.
It's got it! Well on the PC. Console players will have to make do with 1280x720 like its 2003
@DirtyPimp
Yet still a pile of rubbish compared to the PC version
PC gaming is too expensive, they said.
Except when the PC destroys your 1.6ghz specs, then suddenly it's goddamn right
Fanboy double standards.
PC will always be the most powerful platform. New HIGH END gpus and cpus come out every year.
Microsoft and Sony can do nothing about this. They merely buy low end cheap components.
Intel and Nvidia will continue to make stuff that destroys the consoles regardless. I don't know why you can't understand this, it's a fairly basic concept.....
Microsoft and Sony want it that way?! Why would Microsoft and Sony get to decide what Intel, Nvidia and AMD produce?
It's Microsoft and Sony's fault that the Xbox One/PS4 are weak, because they bought weak AMD chips.
Not because they said, "Hey Nvidia, go ahead and make the titan, it's cool with us, we'll let you do it"
Wow dude, honestly just wow.
Agreed.
About 6 years.
When the PS5 comes out.
(by which time, you'll have a 4K TV, and 1080p will feel like 240p)
It's a controller, which is slightly different from the previous model, which is slightly different from the previous model, which slightly different from the previous model.
This isn't going to revolutionize anything.
Even AMD knows how bad the new consoles are lol
Kinda embarrassing
I can understand the PS4 version not having TXAA, AA, or particle effects, but it doesn't even get the high resolution textures?
This is really worrying. The consoles haven't even been released yet, and they're already being shown to be severely dated
But I suppose that's what happens when you go with cheap AMD parts.
64 players!
Just a shame that it's running at 720p. But I guess that's what happens when you go with cheap weak AMD hardware.
Maybe, but by the time PS5 is out, everyone will have a 4k TV, some people will have an 8k TV
In other words, consoles will always be behind.
Hahaha this is honestly turning into a joke. But I suppose the SAME THING HAPPENS EVERY GENERATION. Months of hype (toy story graphics anyone?), and then when we get closer release, reality hits you in the face (in this case, 30fps)
That's what happens when you go with cheap AMD components. AMD do produce some decent stuff, but none of that is in the PS4/Xbox One... they must be laughing after getting the contract to sell this rubbish to Sony AND Microsoft
A $600 PC can max out BF4 at 1080p. This gen, it doesn't take such an expensive PC because the PS4/Xbox One are SO weak. They're cheap recession friendly machines with laughable components. Even 'omg optimisation' isn't helping, because they're that weak
You can only optimise rubbish so far.
Who cares that it's too weak to run BF4 at 1080p, you can turn it on with a vita!!! THIS IS PERFECTION
Fail.
You will love it. My gaming PC is the best gaming decision I ever made. My consoles have been gathering dust ever since. Literally. I unplugged them to free up plug sockets by my tv lol, they weren't needed anymore
I don't want to play on my TV because it's only 1080p and that's too low to resolution. 1080p was impressive in 2006, not 2013.
When I get a 4k tv, I will sure plug my PC into it to play 4k games. Because we all know neither console can power 4k games (or 1080p games, in this example). Embarrassing.
After months of hype and getting overexcited by anything that Mark Cerny says, the reality is finally dawning that these are weak boxes containing cheap AMD hardware.
And you fell for it.
Adding a lot of memory to cope with a heavy OS doesn't make up for the poor GPU and shockingly poor, frankly embarrassing CPU. As we get closer to release, these weaknesses are becoming more apparent.
To be fair it's only natural to think the PS4 version sucks after playing the PC version.
