I got one at launch, it hasn't defined anything yet!! Killzone is boring the living day lights out of me, it looks nice but damn it's the most boring game I've ever played. I've stopped playing it

Of course resolution matters, that's why I play at 1600p.
1080p is better than 720p (duh), but this isn't exactly something to be proud of in 2013. We have 4K on the horizon yet these consoles are still struggling to meet yesterday's standards.

What people here fail to understand is that GDDR5 is just memory. Memory alone won't make your games amazing. If that was the case, they could have picked the very cheapest GPU, and stuck 32gb of GDDR5 on it.
Your games are still limited by your CPU, and the number of stream processors in your GPU. Those are the 2 main defining factors.
