I actually agree. I am missing heavy and medium armors, larger weapon selection, and the thought you need to put into your character.
With that said, I am still getting the guide so I don't miss anything after first play through. Also the extra lore, artwork and maps will be nice.
@TorpeAlex. I don't believe NG+ actually has much for extras. Please correct me if I am wrong but if I am right, it's another knock against it vs Dark Souls.
I don't get it, this dude should be easy on paper and people online make it look easy....BUT...I can never roll through his swipe to get under him. It's like there is an invisible wall.... and then if I do happen to get under him, I get one swipe in before he jumps away and starts going nuts on me.
I've had very little issues with the first handful of bosses but I just get rekt by this guy. Will try again tonight but might have to try a summon if I can't get...
Agreed, I am enjoying BB but after playing Dark Souls 2 on PC at a buttery-smooth frame-rate, the terrible FPS is driving me nuts!
The sad thing is that I don't think the graphics from BB are a generation's leap better than DS2 either.
And that friggin chromatic aberration crap, argh!!
Sorry, end off-topic rant.... The Witcher 3 should run just fine on XB1, remember, these guys did a solid job on the X360 version of The Witcher 2.

I don't think the rep was being terrible, it was more a matter of them having their hands tied by corporate overlords.
You can't just accept repairs because of software issues as it opens the door for abuse.

Forza Horizon 2 is gaming done right and should of been in conversations for game of the year IMO.

Yes, it's not quite as good as DS and DS1 but still is great. My only big knock is too many Knight-type bosses.
Also, this game is running in 60FPS for PS4 and once you play with that, you will never wanna go back. Bloodborne, while pretty good so far, already has a rough time in that aspect.
I just installed a new sound system in my house and this game will be my test subject!

No matter how you slice it, remasters\ports are still taking up manpower that could be used for new game development instead of a game that already exists!!!
Nobody likes it when movies are rehashed from the 80's (or older) so why is it all of a suddenly ok for games that are only a couple of years old??
I'm torn on re-masters. While it gives younger gamers a chance to play games they may of missed out on last gen on their shiny new console, it is still manpower being diverted to a game that was already made.

Even though I have Gamers Club Unlocked and could effectively get this game for under $40, I just can't do it. Not after BF 3 and 4.

Nope, I am buying Type-O cuz I haven't played a decent JRPG in awhile and this one with the mature setting and real-time combat has appeal to me.
If you are buying this game strictly for the demo, you may need to re-evaluate your purchasing decisions and if you are married, then may the gods have mercy on your soul when they find out.

I put in 3-4 hours yesterday and the only MINOR issues I have run into are some frame rate hitching once in awhile. I have also taken screenshots, went to different parts of the xbox while the game was running and have never had a crashing issue.

I have always loved the Battlefield series, bought the premium packs and all that.... BUT!...After how crappy BF4 was for months after launch and the internet rage afterwards, I cannot believe there is any hype for this game whatsoever.
If you buy this game on launch I will find it hard to feel sorry for you when you can't play more than one match because the game wont work.

I played through Dark Souls 2 on Xbox360 using a shield and then when I repurchased on PC, two-handed was the way to go and I don't know if I can go back. I felt way more badass and mobility seemed to be king.
Hopefully the game does have some decent shields though so those players can play how they like to play.
Not sure how to take this. I don't want the Souls series of games being dumbed down just to appeal to wider audience. Their mainstay will always be unrelenting difficulty and it needs to stay that way.
I do like the co-op aspect with codes as that will be nice but I am also a little worried about network performance in PvP. People are going to be rolling around all over the place and the past games have had issues with hit detection and lag-stabs.
