I agree but at the same time MS didn't show any of those games which may of actually been smart. This is why I said I preferred their conference as you had a good idea when everything they announced was coming and I don't think anything was past 2016, correct?
Let's face it. Square Enix isn't exactly known for timely releases so FF7 could be 2018 or beyond, Last Guardian's 2016 release should be taken with a grain of salt, and Shenmue III is most likely ...

Sony had a nice conference with some awesome teases of beloved franchises but it also hurt's them IMO because it detracted from Horizon (game of show?) and put a viel over all the DLC/...

MS does have the problem of over-relying on those established franchises though however good they are.
However, it does look like they are getting more creative with Recore, Rare's new game (finally letting them get off Kinect), Scalebound, Ori, Cuphead, etc.
Sony dominating them is making them a better company for gamers, no question about it. There is no problem with them being second in sales.
Driveclub is good but sales does not equal quality....it's a damn shame that people don't buy Forza games as much as they should.
Forza Horizon 2 was 2014 game of the year IMO. Plus it actually fully worked at launch......
60FPS wins any day over fine graphical details. You can't exactly appreciate slightly better foliage or lighting reflections when they are blurring across the screen because of lower framerates.....they sure look great in still-shots though amiright??
Microsoft has really changed their strategies around for the better and hopefully people can feel better about jumping on.
I love my PS4 but I don't want Sony to get so far ahead that they get complacent.
Competition breeds excellence and gamers benefit all around.
I have gotten a little burnt out on the Arkham games but if a game can release in a polished state like this, I have no problem supporting the dev with my money on release day.

I think no matter what decisions they make with the remake, they will be offending some group of fans or another.
Personally, after watching Advent Children, I would love a action RPG but I totally understand if folks want turn-based and that's cool too.

It's sh!tty that MS has had a drought of AAA games and it's Sh!tty that Sony has theirs. It's a disservice to single-console gamers.

$99 sounds like a better price point but as long as it is a premium product, I can deal with it.
I doubt it will but hopefully it comes with a "premium" warranty.....

Halo deserves our money almost solely for the fact that DLC is free.
Sony DOES have the the most AND best array of games coming out over the lifetime of the consoles, that's a given.
MS has not given us much in the last 6 months and there isn't anything to look forward to until what, August? The does make me angry. Fortunately, I own all consoles and PC and I had games to play thanks to Bloodborn and The Order.
With that said.....The Last Guardian is indeed a re-announcement and I just don't get the hype. ICO wa...
Probably Sony's most exciting game in the near future, yes, even more so than Uncharted 4.....looking forward to more.

Unfortunately, trying to take a level-headed approach and trying to recognize flaws on all sides only results in the crazies on both sides spamming the disagree button.
With that said, Cuphead looks simply stunning and fun as hell. Doesn't look like it will make it this year tho....*sadness*
