Even though gamers and the media overwhelmingly rejected the idea of the Xbox One needing to connect online every so often to function (and rightly so), they will eat this shit up because it's a certain exclusive to a certain company and they can do no wrong and I am sure the excuses will flow in any responses to this comment.

Yeah, too bad HDR has been jacked-up since the Windows 10 Creators update with no fix in sight. HDR for Mass Effect Andromeda, Shadow Warrior 2, and as far as I know, RE:7 and Tomb Raider all do not work currently on PC. If any of you got this working somehow, I would love to hear from ya.

Same here. Elite controller is hands-down MY favorite controller of all time and I use it religiously on my PC as well....BUT.....using the Dualshock 4 on PS4 just feels right. I do wish Sony had their own elite model as well, it would be pretty sweet.

Not even a 1080ti can run most games at 4K60FPS without reducing quality and a significant amount of 4K TVs sold today are 120hz native so the author has not clearly done their research (source: has 120hz native 4K TV)
Also, most console games run at 30FPS anyways and the ones that do run at 60FPS are rarely "locked" so why are we complaining about going above 60FPS?

Yes, exclusives are definitely an issue that needs to get sorted out. With that said, if you do have a good 4K/HDR display, then it appears to be a good piece of tech to throw at it for a reasonable price for what you get.
More like a 980ti or 1070. Yes, there is optimization but that will only go so far. Next year's iterations of graphics cards (1170-1180) should run all of these games at or very near 4K/60 for possibly less than a X1X. Consoles have HDR going for it right now which is good because HDR on PCs is a got-damn mess right now.
Price wouldn't even be talked about if they had just announced some never before seen exclusives (not "Launch" exclusive BS) for their platform. Otherwise $499 would be acceptable, $399 would of been above and beyond.
$499, although reasonable for the tech, needed a little more to throw behind it and that's all there is to it.

The best PS4 exclusive released yet IMO and that's also after recently playing and finishing Nier and Nioh. A prefect blend of Far Cry, Killzone, and Monster Hunter.

Vizio P-65 here. Had some issues to get ironed out software-wise but is a fantastic display for all uses. Also supports both HDR10 and Dolby Vision. Has full array lighting as well......will never get a edge-lit TV again.
Horizon Zero Dawn is an absolute treat on it!
