The problem with headtracking is that when you turn your head, you have to look back with your eyes in the opposite direction. The screen isn't moving. Turning your head one direction and turning your eyes opposite direction is a bit counter-intuitive in theory.
Regardless I'll be trying it out when I buy my Move bundle. I'm sure the geniuses at PD got it to work well.

Unfortunately UT3 mods are different than user generated content on the console. Levels built for UT3 were done on PC, then it took forever to get it converted for the PS3, which you had to download to your thumb drive and physically transfer it to your PS3. On top of that, there was no central place to find these mods, so players had to dig around the internet for them on their PC. See the problem? It's not a streamlined process (unlike LBP) and the editor wasn...
While 3D without glasses can add depth to the picture, it is unlikely that it can add jump-out-of-screen effects.
You're missing out on Blu-ray unless your TV is the size of a microwave.
I actually think the consumer end cost of 3D televisions is the least problematic hurdle for 3D adoption. I think the real hurdle is entertainment production producing 3D content. I think it's far more costly to produce 3D shows, films, and media when they're doing just fine with 2D. Unfortunately I feel like there's no real incentive for film makers and TV production studios to be creating 3D content.
The same argument cannot be applied to Bluray because one is c...

Far Cry 2 had other problems (I own it). It was buggy as hell. Obviously having a map editor won't redeem the game if it's buggy or glitchy. But can you imagine Killzone 3 with a map editor? Or Uncharted 2 with a map editor? Or Socom 4 with a map editor?
Far Cry 2's user generated levels have some of the best multiplayer maps I've ever played in an FPS, regardless of console or system. The bugs kicked everyone out of the lobby af...
These FPS games on consoles need the map editor too. Developers don't realize that if they provide the console consumer with tools to make their own levels and maps, allow them to upload and share with the rest of the community, their game would totally destroy the competition. Think of LittleBigPlanet but for FPS games. Instead developers and publishers would rather charge for overpriced DLC.
I can't even understand the title of the N4G article.
I think it would be better to release this in early december instead of near GT5. It's the ideal family game as a gift for the holidays.
It needs a beta. Don't make the same mistake as Infinity
Ward please. If Naughty Dog needed a beta to perfect the game, so does Zipper.

Not sure why Newtype is getting so much hate for reporting what a lot of my friends say. I personally prefer the PS3 controller more than 360 controller, but the number one complaint I hear is that the PS3 controller is too small for them. This is regardless if they're fat, skinny, tall, or short. Personal preference man, so take it easy.
The glory follows wherever Jason West and Vince Zampella go. First for Medal of Honor, then for Call of Duty. We'll see what's next when Respawn releases its first game.
man hiphopgamer is such an idiot. whats next? mario on 360?
I thought the article's thumbnail was a photo of a woman...
What happened to XIII versus? Do they normally go out of order?
Bad Company 2 gets old after you hit level 30. I also don't like how I have to kill an entire squad otherwise they keep spawning on top of each other. The game turns out to be me versus 8 guys because they each respawn on each other. For some reason I had more fun in Battlefield 1943 than Bad Company 2, and I think it had to do with map design choice and simplicity.
For some reason MW2 doesn't get old even after you prestige. I don't mind the killstreaks or perks ...
The problem I have with 3D at the moment is that it's still new technology in the home. And it seems that each TV manufacturer has its own way of rendering 3D, so there's no standard yet. It's like buying a TV with 1080i resolution when it wasn't standardized yet, then becomes obsolete by the time 1080p was standardized.
Samsung sells a 3D television for $1500 bub, not $3000.
In real driving, when you want to look to the right, you turn both your head and eyes to the right. Head tracking with a non-moving TV screen requires you to turn your head to the right but your eyes to your left in order to keep the eyes fixated on the screen in front of you. The screen did not move.
