They ruined it with bad DLC characters and weapons and zero maps. They are the worst at supporting their games.
Yeah because of how the matching making worked you barely go to play as The Predator and later on the made the game so unbalanced The Predator was running from the marines. Illfonic is a perfect example of a media studio trying game development. F13th, Predator, TCSM, All incredibly poor games you shouldn't support.
I hate to say it but Illfonic like all their other games.. they killed this through ridiculous DLC and an add-ons. It was never great to start with but they completely sullied it later on with bad gameplay balancing issues due to add-ons.
Wasn't it Phil Spencer that said we believe in choice. Ah yes that old chestnut phrase slimey business people say. When in actuality you offer the illusion of choice by knee capping people who buy physical and digital in favor of your deep pocket subsidization of Game Pass in the hope there will only be one choice and everyone goes to you.
Once you've captured enough people you convert them to Cloud without consent and then it is truly end game.
Xbox failin...
Two Point Studios and Sports Interactive probably run on a shoe string budget so that fits into SEGA better lol
Make a proper fleshed out single player Marathon with a multiplayer component. That will get the best out of it.
You mean new Microsoft agreement, Stop pretending Activision Blizzard are operating independently.
Yeah, it isn't hard even as a fan to see when the writing is on the wall for a product. Not sure where the denial comes from; wishing something to succeed isn't going to magically make it happen. I bought a PSVR1 and they couldn't even replicate the best times that headset had because all the AAA studios abandoned it at the end of its lifespan and didn't sign up for the sequel.
Yeah, people ain't dropping $550 just for GT7 (Live Service Game) then Sony shuts it down and it is a big $550 paperweight.
They already threw them plenty of money by giving away all their console exclusives that Valve made profit on by being the platform holder. Valve said thank you very much we'll keep Half Life: Alyx and your games on our rival device Steam Deck and Sony is left looking like an idiot. Platform holder is king, however Sony seem hell bent on self destruction and want to become EA or Ubisoft.
Unfortunately Sony's current direction means no more exclusives as they have all gone to PC along with this headset. I can't have been the only person that seen this strategy as self harm to their business. No exclusives means less people will be around to buy your console or your VR headset platform.
I think part of the issue will be no exclusives. Now that Sony has basically abandoned exclusive games (god knows why) PSVR2 on PC all but confirms that there will never be a reason to buy it over a Quest 3 much to my disappointment.
It has been said many times before, you only need one reason to not buy an expensive VR headset and the PSVR2 gives you many reasons irrespective of someone being a VR fan or not. I get that people are passionate about VR but it was obvious before PSVR2 launch this wasn't going to end well. The writing was on the wall in the final years of PSVR1. VR in general has a game problem and various headsets have their pros and cons. It felt like Sony had put PSVR2 in development before the writi...
New bar for Sony slowly giving people a reason to not buy a console.
It's bad.
That little speech Phil Spencer gave last month hurt Xbox a lot. Most occupations that would mean you're out the door.
Yeah, this is a fire sale. I wouldn't recommend a Meta Quest 2. I already know several people who bought one and they are not using it anymore. They all complained about the low resolution blurry graphics. This headset only serves to turn people away from buying another one.
People that keep fawning over Game Pass don't appreciate or care about the damaging economics of such a model. They are quite often fleeting journalists within the industry just using their free subscription until they move onto something else.
So basically when Game Pass is on everything we are all slaves to the Cloud and Microsoft control everyone's device? It is amazing how many people want this corporate communist dystopia for entertainment.
This is when you add a commander mode so someone can control the other side like an RTS game.
