They'll find out soon enough, Microsoft has no place for physical games. Sad but true. The damage was done 10 years ago.

Don't want to sound too hard but you'll be lucky if you even get a 64 player match. The truth is most AAA developers have dropped VR and the indie developers taking up the slack have been less than stellar and many have launched in a broken state. It is time for Sony to get some kind of system in place for game hybridization.

Sony has made their bed so they have to lie in it now, People are getting more VR value out of their games on PC than PS5 by using mods. Tha...

The original soundtrack was missing in Twin Snakes and for me audio is half the experience. Original OST was iconic.

It is good of Disney to trust Microsoft with two of their totally not tarnished IP's Indiana Jones and Blade. lol

It's good and it's also bad and as much as I like VR it would be foolish for me to suggest that the market sentiment for it isn't on a downward trajectory. PCVR headset makers falling out of the market, Quest 3 and PSVR2 underperforming compared to their predecessors. Most AAA publishers have walked away from VR compared to the last push too.

The next push seems to be copying what Apple is doing with Mixed Reality. Even Sony has just announced their Mixed Realit...

When the Steam Deck has sold more than a Nintendo handheld I'll start listening to such articles until then stop smoking whatever it is you're smoking. It's ok to like the Steam Deck but you don't have to spread propaganda like it's some rip roaring financial success. It has sold less than the Vita. It has created more web articles than sales which is probably the reason for the mental disconnect.

It is amazing how a great amount of people associate subscription services with free these days. It is almost like these companies run on magic. When you are being asked to part with your money on a monthly basis and you think it is free. I guess that is why these mega corps like subscriptions as it makes some people feel like they aren't paying for it. For me I would mandate that entertainment subscriptions should require user renewal every month.

The way Microsoft are going there won't be any need to have a PC or a Console and I for one won't be helping them do it buy funding their horrible ambition. Phil Spencer will do his politician act to lure you in and give you the comforting words some people need to hear about how they will support consoles and pc but the truth is they are all in on Cloud Gaming.

Same, I bought PSVR1 and pretty much every AAA studio took a shot at making games for it but on PSVR2 it is just Sony and a sea of indie Quest ports which doesn't justify a premium $550 tag. I really want to play more VR but most of the software is pure garbage. I wouldn't even get $550 dollars worth of entertainment if you go by the dollar per hour metric for fun, it just isn't there. the few good games on it might get you close to 100 if you are hardcore.

I th...

Some people just want capitalist communism and for Steam to have no competition. All of a sudden investing over a decade into 1 digital store front or having all your eggs in one basket looks under threat as the competition heats up. Now they are starting to see the potential pitfalls of what if Steam were to lose in the long run. The best solution was always the one we had right now. Library in your home and go to physical or online stores so no one has complete control of your loyalty or me...

So if we run this to its conclusion to a world of no longer buying retail games, you essentially have Microsoft with their store front which probably shows about handful of games and they are essentially picking the winners and losers and how the money is distributed among them in a like it or lump fashion. I don't consider myself the biggest capitalist but it is amazing how many people who think they are pro capitalism just want for socialized entertainment were they really have no say o...

When someone comes out singing about Games Pass it is always questionable. As we have seen plenty of evidence to support the opposite but nothing tangible to support the pro side.

Sony will find out that their current business strategy will come back to haunt them next gen. From a subscription perspective and console hardware perspective. I have bought every Sony console in the past but I have only bought a tiny amount of games compared to previous generations. Why? because I can get their games for free on PC and I don't need a subscription either. Copying Microsoft's business model is a quick way to mediocrity and oblivion.

Also if you thi...

Expect a Konami style approach to all these franchises. SEGA don't have the resources to do AAA games anymore. If they had ever been serious about say Streets of Rage they would have made one on the Dragon Engine. SEGA hasn't made a AAA game since the PS3 era, just keep that in mind.

I agree that Phil Spencer has to go, the industry has transitioned leadership multiple times at Nintendo and Sony and Phil hangs around like a bad rash and everyone below him gets the chop for failure. The only clever thing he did if you can call it clever was to bait Sony into putting their games on PC (That will hurt Sony in the long run as a console maker) and then pretending Xbox would not be about exclusives anymore. Phil did a complete 180 on that as he always does.
