Infamous is my favorite video-game series of all time. I hope they take their amazing game mechanics / engine and do some type of spin-off.
No other game is as much "fun" as infamous!
Obviously its not as sharp and the lighting did not look as impressive. But the animation held up well and it still looked like a very high quality game.
As I suspect the wii Pad has no internal CPU (other than to display the received video), and the base station is slightly more powerful than consoles released six years ago so price comes down to two things:
1. Display
2. Battery
If they can manage these costs, Nintendo's shareholders just might make it.
Can you give us a clue how you know without outing your source?
I hope they spend a few bucks on the blu-ray player... loading times drive me crazy!

I'm pretty nervous about EA's refusal to post console screenshots. We could be in for a nasty disappointment.
Its graphical improvement is only matched by the tiny a** screenshots :)
In Canada, with all the HDCP, this is your only real digital alternative to the Explorer boxes.
It works exactly as advertised, but unfortunately it will not work with EyeTV's incredible Mac/iOS DVR software. Blah.

If ngp does not include visually impressive 3D, even with glasses, then IMO Sony shouldn't bother showing up.
The mobile competition is nuts, and having the most powerful handheld for 8-12 months isn't going to cut it. To compete against a iPad 3 (with an added gamepad) you will need 3D.
I have more than enough devices that i can touch. I rather have one I can play.
I have never been so close to buying a special edition for a video game before.
The only thing holding me back is the included sling pack looks too small to be useful.
If Infamous 2 ends up being just like the original with a fancy new paint-job, thats more than enough for me. Everything on top of that is just gravy.
And from the looks of it, Infamous 2 is covered in gravy :)
I have to say, the game looks surprisingly good. Seems like they took the one great thing about spore and put it in a game that doesn't suck.
I can already picture Nintendo's commercial:
"Want to do the same thing you have done for years but on a bus, get a PSP2.
"Want to try something new that we couldn't even imagine 10 years ago, get a 3DS."
I am so disappointed in Sony right now its insane.

While no doubt this incredibly powerful machine will win over the smaller hardcore audience, Nintendo and Kinect have demonstrated that people want new experiences which only the 3DS will provide.
Yes, the PSP2 is a fine portable PS3. The 3DS on the other hand is something we could not even have imagined 10 years ago.
Nintendo is the one company that does not subsidize the cost of their hardware.

15GB is a bit much, but its great for folks who would never buy without finding out how amazing infamous 2 is first hand.
