Well there has been a demand by some that Sony should abandon the PS2 and move on. If we are to believe that Sony listened to these people, cutting the BC from the 40 GB model is a step in the right direction I suppose...

IMHO, the strength for the 360 so far has been it's lower price point; this has been a knee in the groin for Sony and has forced them to make massive pricecuts. If the Xbox 360 was to have a HD-DVD drive as standard , the price would rise significantly. Besides, as many has already mentioned, no devs would be allowed to develop on the HD-DVD medium.

I say the best solution is the one already at hand, let the consumer choose whether or not they want HD-DVD compatibility on their...

Well MasterG, we could put it differently; a load of people are being paid by government. I agree that I phrased it incorrectly by saying that 2,2 million are on WELFARE. Problem is that we have an enormous public sector doing administrative tasks. Not police officers, firefighters, teachers and doctors, but administrators. It's easy to say that we have the lowest unemployment percentage when most jobs within the public sector are superflous and in great numbers. I mean, come on! There are jo...

To many people the Nordic countries sound like a fairytale-land for some reason. However, we're still a chunk of the big poo called Europe; the Danish hospitals are ranked 35th in the world. By comparison the US healthcare is ranked 37. 2,2 million of the 6 million citizens are on social welfare boosting tax rates to unbearable hights. Maybe we have free hospitals and schools, but so does the rest of Europe. Add to the list that our schools are among the worst in the OECD. Also, we have an al...

"Note to self: Don't turn crappy TV-series into videogames. If big Hollywood productions bomb, then the Lord have mercy on daytime-TV games."

I sometimes wonder how these companies approve some douchebag's suggestion. I mean, do they actually expect this to sell?

Thanks to your information, I won't have to stare into my TV waiting for the update. That smoke-thingy animation in the background on the XMB gets tiresome after 4 hours y'know? :D

And thus does the empire expand. Behold, the new Digital Roman Empire.

Does anyone know when the store is actually updated, or is it just random?

The true question is: why was his life so empty that he didn't have anything other than video games to live for?

Or, how about in-game product placement?

"Kratos, what are you doing?"

"I'm changing the bag on the vacuum cleaner..."

"No need to. The Dyson 1D800C doesn't need bags!"

"Amazing!"

As long as it doesn't involve pop-up stuff, and is restricted to billboards and booths... I see no problem.

Great news. November 20th... that means early Spring, 2008 in Sony-language. :D Just kidding!

King Bohan in Heavenly Sword. I think it's the only boss I had to beat over 2 days, just to avoid tossing the controller around the room. That's with exploits mind you... without them he's plain impossible.

I think that a reasonable debate on facts between two electronic devices, spoken in a civilized manner, is just a tech-freak debate; those can actually be beneficial and you might learn something. A console WAR is what we're seeing now: Jack Tretton - "We do not bribe gaming companies, like some of our competitors do!" Shane Kim - "Nothing can compare with Halo 3, on any other systems!" I can't recall when the tone was worse in the console history. As a result, little muta...

Crap is a harsh word, especially when talking about a game which features 1000 units at a time. You need to take more aspects than your own initial thoughts into consideration.

Problem with Crysis is that as soon as you leave the jungle, the game is really not all that interesting, a bit like F.E.A.R; sterile, plain and uninspired. In Uncharted, the jungle looks as good as in Crysis. I don't know if it behaves as sophisticated as in Crysis, but the visual appeal is just as good if not better IMHO. Plus, Uncharted is absolutely stunning when moving indoors as well.
The Crysis team focused way too much on the vegetation aspect of the game, and what we'll end up...

Actually she's a toon. 100% in fact. Every texture in Uncharted is hand painted, no photos of any kind. It really gives a less realistic and more romantic feel to the whole thing.

Now, I dare not say she's hot, since she's really just a piece of code. The fact that we can find computerized characters sexy is sometimes freaking me out really. So... no comment. :D

Let's just hope that Greg Miller from IGN doesn't review this. Though Lair in all probability did suck, his review could've been written by a 6 year old; "Controls suck! I can't steer my dragon!!1" That's one thing a reviewer must NEVER do: whine.

But then again, I know the PS3 team on IGN. They'll probably give it a 6.5 for "some texture glitches" or "the frame rate occasionally dropping below 125". I know I'm exaggerating here, but the PC and X36...
