I for one, 50% liked the idea of drm: sharing games with family and not needing to put the discs inside to play them.
However MS ruined the drm idea but saying there would be used game fees on it. I have high speed interwebs, so I never really cared if my console was to get pinged once per 24 hours.

A good movie reviewer on a radio station I like said the movie was crazy good. Like Transformers on steroids. (Hopefully done without those annouying ghetto robots or the jarjar binks equivilant).
Not in 5 years, not even close. Unless in 5 years another console gen releases. This gen gunna struggle to have quality 1080p with all the juicy effects, let alone higher than that. But almost everyones current tv or screen is maxed at 1080p anyways, so that a good resolution at this point in time for consoles.
Didn't Bungie own Halo in the same fashion? There's all kinds of legal jargon and small print. Just look at Grand theft auto and MGS used to be ps2 exclusives.

It's perceived simplicity and outdated stereotyping of pc gaming. There's zero difference between pulling up my steam account vs playing a game on psn/live. Heck you can use your console controllers on the pc and hdmi it right over to you tv.

Load times have more to do with the hard drive speeds, than ram. For example ssd drives load everything very fast, but they don't really affect the game effects like ram does once playing it.
I see consoles using much less ram than pc's for the reason you said about fully utilizing things efficiently. Plus console OS are far more efficient than the resource hog that is windows OS.
