yes and no. I mean consoles will already come with a 1 year warranty and you can find several places to sell you an extended 3 year warranty if you feel the need for it.

Never understood how having the freedom of a battery pack was bad thing. I would never, ever by a cell phone like apple (or controller) where you have to pay a "tech" $100 to change the battery. $6 worth or energizer rechargeable batteries>$40-50 replacement controller=winning.

Hopefully it wont require such high tech mastery with the new and supposedly easier to code x86 cpu, so across the board you'll see high end looking games.

Ps4 does look to have some very nice specs for a console. Probably the best specs the best of all 3 from what we read, but it can't be perfect because it doesn't have a fast ssd drive and is fugly as sin.

Everyone who is relevant to next gen gaming has the internet. Sure there's prolly a handful that fall thru the cracks, but can't ever, ever please everyone, everytime. If you cant afford/live in some weirdo place, chances are you cant afford next gen gaming anyways.
Pretty sure high end cards like titan are day 1 exceeding next-gen consoles that don't even release for 4 months. the price is high ya, but its still day 1.
