Do something to keep it going and while you're at it can we please get a new version of the first game on PS4? Call it the Ultra Mega Edition or whatever you have to do and bring it over. Heck if it came out after Spider-Man I would be okay with that.
@gangsta_red
Now this isn't a complete knock against remasters but since the XBOX One launched they have released, Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Gears Of War Ultimate Edition to go along with Halo 5 and Gears of War 4. They have also seen Halo Wars 2 come out. The biggest franchise they have leaned on though is Forza with Forza 5 and 6 along with Forza Horizon 2 and 3 all releasing on XBOX One. Outside of those franchises they don't take a lot of risk and ha...

Not every Mario and Zelda game have been has been quality or even highly polished. Some have not done well at all. So we don't know how the new ones will fare. I am optimistic for both but with a new system and Mario going Open World we just don't know. Also Mass Effect Andromeda is coming off the heels of ME3 which wasn't the best entry in the series and some of the things EA wants to do with ME:A may not be well received either. As for the others you...
Out of the list I think only RDR2 will come close. Rockstar always do make quality games but I think they may focus more on online with it than the SP this time around. if they do then that could give Horizon Zero Dawn the edge.
Same here. I don't want to know anything about the story until I play it. Just a few more days left.
You also forgot MLB The Show 17, March 28th and Drawn To Death, which comes out on April 4th.
I have GR for the Vita and I plan on buying the remaster as well as buying GR2 soon. I just haven't had the budget for it. In fact I have had to wait for sales for a lot of my games but eventually I do get them since I decided to go all digital this gen. Still I love how Sony does support the more niche games and doesn't always try to 'kill' IPs. Some may go on hiatus but they eventually come back around.
@Why o why
Exactly. I never understand why people knock games that are exclusive but don't sell as well as the big blockbuster titles. Look at Knack. It didn't sell that great but obviously it was well received enough that we are getting a full on sequel. I for one loved the first game and I cannot wait to play the sequel. Thankfully Sony has always been about variety in their offerings instead of relying on a few titles. The fact they even green lighted Knack and p...
And it doesn't matter that all of their exclusives do not hit a certain amount of sales because they do have so many across so many different genres. Is it nice that some do sell extremely well and will draw in more people? Absolutely. But it is much better that Sony doesn't rely on a few IPs to carry them and will allow their studios to make games people want to play even though they may not all cross the several million mark.
Also how can you say it took quite som...
Why is this even a question? Seriously didn't we have enough of thinking only kids played games back in the 90s? I have been gaming since the NES days but gaming became a passion of mine in 1996 when I got a Playstation. Not long after I turned 18 and became an Adult so gaming is something I have done my entire Adult life. I am now married and have 3 kids and all of us play video games. Even when they are grown and have moved out I will continue to game.Gaming is something that everyone c...
Really? What exclusives have been confirmed by MS for this year besides, Sea of Thieves, Crackdown 3, State of Decay 2, Cuphead, and Halo Wars 2 (which is out)? Sony has over 30 confirmed titles for this year with only some of them having been released so far.
It isn't just this year that MS needs to be concerned about either. Sony has so many other games in development that will be seeing releases over the next few years because they allow their 1st party studios the f...
They are working on Nex Machina for the PS4 which looks like it will be as much fun as ResoGun.
Look at Sucker Punch. We had 3 Sly Cooper games from them, then several inFamous titles and now if what we hear is true they are working on another new IP. Granted we haven't really seen or heard anything yet but I really hope we get some clue as to what they have been doing at E3 this year.
I'd like to see them expand on the world, provided that the first game leaves it open to that. Especially since from what rumors suggest about Sucker Punch working on a new IP that along with Horizon being a new IP would carry us for quite awhile. If Horizon was to do yet another new IP with them having done Horizon we would either see a longer wait for another game from them not to mention any possible sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn. Sony is doing a good job giving all of their studios the ...
People have been saying that for years and MS just doesn't focus on New IPs enough. Sure they have had some but they didn't go far and how could they when they are always pushing a new Halo, Gears, or Forza. Those 3 always end up taking time away from new IPs they actually do release. MS really should have been investing in new studios and IPs years ago. Because right now things are looking a little dry with a new console also about to come out. That's not saying they can't do...
Not just GG as a dev but kudos on Sony allowing their studios to push themselves like this and do something completely new. I cannot wait for the 28th and will be spending a lot of time with this game.
Those are supposed to be nice but I can't afford anything that pricey. I have decided on a 55 Sony Bravia that is just under the OLED.
I will also be buying a 4K TV and PS4 Pro soon. Also can't wait for the 4.5 update to add on a 8TB HDD. This game was also a big factor in that decision.
It actually does have a story if you are willing too explore a little and find it. It however is't like other games where it gives it too you in cutscenes. Just from exploring I have found out quite about the story and how the alien races are involved.
@nitus10
At the time they were pitching it many passed because Insomniac wanted to keep the IP for themselves. MS stepped up to the plate and published the first game but Insomniac does still own the IP and can bring out new games on multiple platforms.
That being said I hope they find some way to get the first game released on PS4.
