Yes. Now that they are reversing what kept me away. Kind of how things work. Didn’t buy into it when they had MTs in place but once they are gone I will give them my money so they can see it was the right move. Although I will wait until I can get it in a sale and not pay full price.
That looks so good and I cannot wait to see more. Seriously the way he moves is how I have wanted to be able to in previous Spider-Man games. Seeing him bouncing off objects in the world to keep moving is just Amazing. I also love how the combat looks and incorporating his gadgets will make fighting so much fun. Im glad we are finding out the release date tomorrow. I just hope it isn’t that much longer of a wait.
Yep. That and social media backlash helps. EA backed down from the MTs in Battlefront and hopefully won't be trying that again. I do tend to try and stay away from games that have them or at the very least not buy into them. I do like how Sony for the most part isn't going there with their big titles.
I was excited for this game until they started really pushing the MTs. I ended up skipping it too when it first came out because of that. Now they won;t be part of the game anymore I will probably give it a shot.
Yep. We still need to see game play for Ghost Of Tsushima which I hope we see at E3. Also still need game play for The Last Of Us Part 2 but I expect that won't be shown at this E3. Sony really does have a lot of titles in line and it is simply amazing how they have gotten to a point where they can let each stand on its own but also learned not to show too much too far out as well.

Sony has the film Rights but Marvel got the game licensing Rights back when their deal with Activision expired in 2014. At that time Marvel started looking for partners for their characters because they wanted them to be treated better than just for movie tie ins. They approached Sony because of how Sony treats 1st party titles and wanted Spider-Man treated the same way. Whether that means Sony has the game rights for multiple games or just this one remains to be seen b...
I am guessing we will see and hear a lot more about this at E3 and get a release date for September since Oct and beyond will be full of 3rd party titles. Also Sony may be working on another Pro bundle like the God Of War one which would make it a great buy for the Holidays. In any case their focus now is obviously on God Of War and Detroit Become Human then E3.
They already pushed Days Gone to 19. Probably because they needed more time and to give it a little room to get hype on it's own away from the big releases for this year. That is definitely on my radar and I expect we will see it released early in 2019 though.
We also have Spider-Man coming this year. For all we know that could be pushing a bar and be a contender for GOTY too. We just don't know yet. Still the PS4 is definitely where the best exclusives are at.
I am so ready for this game. I have been a fan of the series since the first game and frankly I love the new direction it is going in. This is one reason why I am a Sony gamer mostly. They can keep a franchise going but allow their studios to take risks and we get what could end up being one of the highest rated games on the PS4.
Yep. Honestly it is one reason why I do enjoy going back and replaying through SP games. While yes the story is no longer new after the first playthrough we can still enjoy visiting those worlds.
Yeah it is for 3rd party. But thankfully Sony so far seems content on not doing that. God Of War won't have any. http://www.gameinformer.com... HZD didn't have any and the DLC we got was very reasonably priced. God Of War also doesn't have a season pass like how HZD didn't so if we get any DLC it too will hopefully be reasonably priced. Another...
So far they have shown 3 (4 if you count Norman Osborn, but he doesn't seem like a villain) and hinted there will be more. They haven't said who will show up though. But I hope whoever they add won't feel tacked on and will add to the over arching story.
I can't wait to see what they will be. I also fully expect Miles Morales will be playable as Spider-Man as well. They are being way too cagey about his involvement beyond saying he wasn't always planned but felt like he fit the story. With his abilities they could do some really cool things with gameplay too. I just hope that if he is they will find a good way to balance it out and keep it going through any sequels we may get.
Also look at God Of War. Yes it is in the same franchise but it's being taken in a completely new direction and totally changes the combat. How often do you see a franchise change so drastically? I love that Sony is willing to take risks as it helps push gaming forward.
It plays out fairly well in the newest Spider-Man cartoon too. I am definitely looking forward to how the game does it and is still easily my most anticipated game for next year.
Yep. They have been doing it since the PS1. Even with the initial misstep of the PS3 they were able to recover because of their 1st party studios.
GOW. Said early 2018 in the trailer. I took that to mean between Jan to March.
Yeah looks amazing. Still want that release date though.
That's based on tweets and even the guy answering the questions doesn't know for sure how it is handled. He did get hands on time but maybe not to the extent something like that would come up. In any case if it isn't dynamic that isn't that big of a deal. I do hope they give us the option to change the setting though. Would make for some great photo mode shots.
