That would be awesome. Take us back to Amalgam Comics. Would be sweet if they gave us the crossover characters like Super Solider, Dark Claw, and Iron Lantern.
I like Batman but I am a much bigger Superman fan so seeing him being made into the bad guy is unsettling. I would love to see DC put out a well done Superman game where hs isn't the bad guy though.
On another note I really wish DC would put together an entire movie like what we got in this game. Multiple times I found myself just immersed in the cutscenes and thinking how cool all that would look in a theater.
Because when Sony does well it can mean more exclusive titles like Spider-Man. Companies look at how well they are doing and see how well there games are received and naturally want to be a part of that. It can also at times push the competition to reach higher which is good for gaming as it gives gamers more quality choices.
@Krysis Yes for awhile the PS2 was a much cheaper DVD player and it helped you didn't need an additional add-on in order to play DVD movies too. That was another misstep Microsoft took with the XBOX in requiring people to buy their adapter and remote in order to play DVD movies. So yes that did help fuel a lot of the PS2 sales but it also helped push the DVD format as well. Staying on the market for 13 years and being a major system for 6-7 of those also helped. Especially when you compar...
That's actually wrong. The PS2 came out in NA in Oct of 2000. The original XBOX came out only 13 months later in Nov of 2001. It did have the misfortune of coming out a month after GTA 3 had released on the PS2 though. That being said there wasn't really that much of a gap and if MS had done better at securing games for the XBOX it could have beat the PS2. Fact is Sony secured the must have games and had the 1st party studios needed to really make the PS2 into the best selling console...
Actually there was only about a 1 year gap between the release of PS2 in NA and the XBOX Release. PS2 launched in Oct. of 2000 and XBOX was Nov. of 2001. While the XBOX was more powerful it really was the games that caused the PS2 to become the best selling console in history. That being said coming out a few weeks after the release of GTA 3 on the PS2 may not have helped the launch of the XBOX though.
Now if MS wants to help themselves and the industry they will put out g...
@Bathyj A few of my clan mates got the Seagate 5TB plus and they worked fine. They opted for the 3.5 externally powered though for the increased drive speed. The 2.5 should work fine but the load times might be a few seconds slower.
@Bathyj You are welcome. I had thought the same thing but the PS4 and PS4 Pro have to be "directly" connected to the drive. I ended up buying this enclosure after ripping out the drive from my 8TB Plus Hub. So in the end it's not a complete loss especially since the the Pro I can use the extra USB 3.0 connection in the back. 3228d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment
Don't do it. The plus hubs will not work with the PS4 or PS4 Pro. You can do backups to them but they will not be recognized as an external hard drive for storage of applications. I had the 8TB one and found that out. Ended up ripping out the drive and getting an external enclosure that worked. The issue with the Plus Hubs drives is that the drive itself is on the same board as the hub so the PS4 doesn't see the drive as directly connected.
@Darkfist_Flames
I want another inFamous too. Personally I'd like to see one where you can play as Delsin again but also see Cole make a comeback and then part of the choice would be which character do you want to play as. Could even be able to decide to switch it up on a per mission basis and would be perfect for Co-Op as well. That being said I am excited to see what new IP they come up with though.
Don't forget Sucker Punch is working on a new IP now and not another inFamous. Also look at Insomniac Games. Yes they are 2nd party but they went from Spyro to Ratchet and Clank, then to Resistance while still working on more Ratchet and Clank. They have also done their own thing but are now working on Spider-Man exclusively for the PS4. If a studio that has remained independent still keeps coming back because of the freedom they get.
I too like the Ropecaster idea and the ability to add our own zip lines. I'd even add maybe allow us to also use the rope to ascend and not just for the rappel animation. I expect that with a sequel we will get some of those new abilities though.
On another note does anyone else wish we could attach someone to a ceiling with the ropecaster and attach a proximity charge to them? Imagine someone coming to investigate and BOOM.
I have an 8TB HDD in an enclosure and it works just fine. No issues formatting the drive or transferring games over to it. Now I have it downloading a lot more games while the system is in rest mode.
You can't really customize any ships besides the interior portions of a freighter you own. You can rename ships, freighters, vehicles, weapons, and bases now though. Also you can own multiple ships and each have different uses now that really make them stand out from one another.
I have a 8TB that I had to format to exFAT for my PS4 to see it. I do believe Fat32 will also work but exFAT allows for larger file allocation sizes. I may have to do another format though since I used it to backup one PS4 so I could doa restore on my Pro so I wouldn't have to re download everything. Now I will have to take time out to transfer all my games to the HDD and start re downloading games I had deleted in the past.
It would be wrong if in addition to the initial $60 it cost on release they were requiring money for these updates. But the last two major updates have been completely free and have done a lot to really improve this game. People pay more for some DLC in other games that have added far less than these updates have added to NMS. The game would have been better received had it released with this in place but some also had their expectations for the game way too high. Anyway the game isn't fo...
This game was enough for me to upgrade my TV and get a PS4 Pro. I am very happy I did as well as the game is a absolute blast to play and looks amazing too.
@Shin-Zantetsuken
I know that some games will rotate in and out and some you could rent separate from the service but most get it for the games that are covered under the subscription. I have never subscribed as my backlog of PS4 and PS3 games is too large to pay the price they are asking for. If they added in PS1 and PS2 games then I would certainly jump on board.
They also need to add on PS1 and PS2 games into PS now. But yes one subscription for both services would work well.
Sony showed games that you can't play anywhere else. Microsoft showed things we have seen several times over the last few years, some that are again delayed and multi plats that can be played elsewhere. I won't bag on indies because they can be a lot of fun so kudos on MS finally catching up to something Sony has been good about supporting already.
Some of the games Sony showed again this year were first announced last year. Days Gone, first announced last E3, got n...
