Kinda funny how the taller kid was trying to pick a fight too, but backed off...at the advice of a girl.

Pwned on all accounts.

@damnyouretall

It's a disagree troll. They just roll down the comments list and disagree with most of the posts. Too big of pussies to actually make a comment.

Silent Hill: Homecoming had a pretty decent storyline - if they would have done away with the excess characters. I think the fact that the game could glitch up and you'd die or lose your progress was what scared me the most though :P

Deadly Premonition is a favourite because apparently it's so bad that it's good. I doubt if that does anything positive for the genre.

Watch the price of MSP skyrocket.

Stealing is stealing, it's all a matter of who you're stealing from.

But he is...He's getting money for it, which he is allocating for his legal fees.

Yeah, I get that it's a joke.

It's just not all that funny.

It's a trap, and I think the hackers know that.

Recruiters do not open positions, either - it comes from higher up in the company. Recruiters are notified of positions that open up and find suitable talent to fill that opening. Typical recruitment letters would entail more about what the position requires, possibly a salary range, and time to set up a possible interview. This e-mail has none of that.

Either it's a trap, or this is an elaborate ruse...

I think that's the case here lol

I've got to agree there, Japan is more than just its video game developers. How about the millions of people that support the industry there that now are without homes and lost family members.

My local paper stated that authorities fear over 1000 will perish.

The article makes it seem like we don't care about those people - but the comments section (for once) shows we do.

Wow, no wonder I can't seem to quit.

The short version? It's a good game either way. Obviously the 1-1 movement isn't there and there are some jaggies from it being upscaled. And also there's trophies. The end :)

Intelligent readers, eh? You didn't read the article, did you?

They didn't try to take over - in the game it's a "peaceful unification." An agreement by both sides.

And by "Western" you mean the US would try to put a stop to it? The future that Homefront describes puts the US in a position to do dick-all about it. The economy had collapsed, they'd need to deal with problems at home before they dealt with problems abroad...

You'd think since the author used to work at the store they'd have a little more compassion for the people that work behind the counter. It appears that most of the people commenting on the original site have absolutely no idea how to get along in the world outside their little box as well.

Y'know you might think you're being cool or edgy dishing it out on a service clerk. But really, to the rest of the world you're a sad little prick with no socializa...

I think Notch is pretty ignorant. No such thing as a lost sale? You pirated something, it's yours now, for free...are you going to go out and buy it now? There are more of them in the world for sale, but no one is going to buy them if they can get them for free. Derp, that's a lost sale. The value of said item depreciates = more lost sales.

The car analogy is off because piracy here refers to digital media, intangible items that are being copied. And it definite...
