"A few day ago, I watched the now infamous video of a US Army helicopter firing on a group of people in Iraq which included two Reuters photojournalists. The morality of the act in itself is debatable."
Did he watch the whole video or just the edited version that was posted on Wikileaks? Surprising exactly nobody the unedited version includes all sorts of people holding AK-47s and RPGs. So it was not the indiscriminate killing of civilians as advertised on the day of it...
If the Bible were a game with unedited graphics it would be full of things that would insure beyond any doubt that it was a M or AO title.
Seems like mine still works. Why do I get the feeling that this problem is not nearly so widespread?
The Baneblade and Landraider from Warhammer 40k called and wanted you to know they were both done flattening anything from this list that didn't run away very fast.
I wondered how long it would be before the front page started filling up with April Fools jokes.
One person who did not work for Fox made a stupid claim on one show one time and Fox offered Bioware the chance to come on and set things straight, which they declined to do.
Fifty to one hundred times more time has been spent trying to attack Fox News over this than was spent talking about Mass Effect.
Wal-Mart = Isolated case largely happening due to ignorance.
Gamestop = Company that knows exactly what it's doing as it becomes a glorified pawn shop and harasses customers.
Somebody get those women some clothes.
Looks like somebody working over at the XB Live division can't stand the thought of somebody being critical of Obama.
And ditching the PS3 to make cheaper PSP games when you finally built up at least something of a reputation with Valkyria Chronicles isn't the way to do it either.
Game reviewers are a type of journalist when it comes right down to it. They are suppose to approach everything with objectivity and try to be as fair as possible. While it is true that bias is always going to creep in, it has become even more true during this console generation.
What this guy basically did was succumb to his own biases and give a perfectly decent game a bad score because of them. He couldn't get around his own preconceptions and ideas about what the game should ...
A lot of people who play video games play with their bodies quite enough as it is, there's no need to encourage it.
'Let's kick back and see which way the pervailing winds are blowing, then do something 'cool' when we finally release our review'.
Since I'm not going to dignify their website with a visit and thus giving them what they want with this 'trolling to hits to show our advertisers' review, are they doing both the 360 and PS3 version or just one of them?
Slow badly animated combat combined with a bad interface.
It would totally fit in to the MMO catagory.
It also doesn't help when the 360 fanboys over at Edge give the PS3 version the lowest score out of any site so far and then don't even bother with the 360 version.
Bashing on the PS3 is like smoking, it became a bad habit for gaming web sites and they're finding it hard to quit. I can absolutely promise you that if the situation were reversed and the PS3 version was the slightly inferior version the reviews would show for it.
After literally years of trying to decry Sony and the PS3 as a failure a lot of these people are finding the taste of crow is not to their liking.
It was Sony and bashing on them as often as possible is like smoking for some people, they just can't quit.
Until you drop that DRM crap I'm not buying anything you put out on the PC.
Whining little twerps with an entitlement complex.
1)The unedited video clearly shows people holding weapons including AK-47s and RPGs. Do you acknowledge this or not? You do not know what you are talking about and more to the point you do not know what I'm talking about.
2)The video was edited as has now been proven for anyone who has been following the story. If you have not seen the portion of the video showing a significant number of armed individuals, then you haven't seen the whole video.
3)You clearly have preconceived ide...
