Doom and gloom talk.... so windows 8 is hitting record sales the pc industry is booming with demand. Internet Explorer is dominating. Bing with almost no marketing has become the worlds goto point for search... windows is dominating Android and apple in all things mobile and tablet. And no chrome books are not competing with laptop sales...
Okay back to reality... seriously folks... Read some news use a little logic... MS doesn't exactly have alot good going for it... I...
Lol. Consoles get all the best games.
@truefan... What new games has ms brought since launch? Every multiplatform Game runs and looks better on ps4.. MS is doing so much better that you could only list 5 Games NONE of which are releasing anytime soon and two are halo games... one a remake... All i can say is wow..
Again... Why don't you actually read the article so you don't sound like a trolling ignorant fanboy...
@georgenoob and those too lazy to read the article
An executive of Sony was responding to the question of a possible release of the xbox one in Asia and it's impact. The guy basically said that having it would expand the market and they would welcome it there... Not sure I am seeing the arrogance... Please read the article first so you get things in context...
How bout I keep my ps4 and buy a ps4 for the same cost? Not sure why this would convince someone to switch over.
@DoubleM70
Basically respawn wanted dedicated servers but couldn't afford them as a start up company so they made a deal with Ms... After you take that factual piece of info into consideration you kind of have to treat the rest as a sales pitch for xb1. Their success is after all tied now to ms console and cloud success.
When multiconsole development teams start speaking out on this subject then it might be worth listening to. So far ms first party seem to be abou...
@nukeitall
MS has a very bad reputation across the boards and it was there long before gaming came along. If you aren't aware of that, then you probably don't need to be commenting. Where as Sony may have had track records for being arrogant in the past, Sony has always been a loved and respected brand. Do some homework man.... They also have a VERY long history of supporting formats and systems they release even if they aren't the most well adopted. MS on the oth...
Buying a GAME console to not play games... Does anyone else see this logic as being a little off?
If more story driven dlc comes at the expense of having to wait longet for a sequel then I support the choice.
Announcing that there will be an announcement... write...
When everyone tries to justify a bad action by saying everyone else does it they are essentially condoning it. I see alot of people condoning what MS did... To me anyone caught doing this should be spoken out against. Why anyone would attempt to justify such a practice undermines everyone's ability to receive credible information on gaming products. Such deeds should be shunned regardless of who is doing it... let's take the fanboy goggles off for a moment and and act a little more li...
From my understanding digital sales are not included. This is going to continue to make these software stats less and less meaningful.
So.. let me get this straight...
A Sony supply constrained US release is barely behind a well supplied xb1 release.
Sony made a mistake on not providing greater stock in the US but globally has a 1.25mil+ lead in sales because they released to a larger market.
MS has exceeded demand as well as their expectations in the US market and must have seen that as being more favorable than pushing those consoles to other markets and having a wider rel...
Irish just buy a ps4 then you can stop being jealous and spend less time trolling ps articles and more time gaming..
Yeah I don't think the ps4 games will be streamed.they would probably pose a greater technical challenge.
@corndog
Agreed classic jrpg monster... appears in all sorts of games all the time.
Yeah if you provide too much info too early you get into alot of trouble. Consumers are very unforgiving with changes and games can have significant changes all the way to the last moment. A well marketed game spaces out information to reach a peak interest just before release to maximize sales potential. There are alot of strategic reasons behind it.
@Awesomeabe1998 spam much?
MS limited the number specifically to maximize launch sales... If they thought they could have sold more by releasing in more countries they would have done so. Xbox sales are extremely weak outside the US and always have been.
