Vgchartz doesn't track online game sales...
Unless sony has started reporting online sales, I don't think these numbers are relevant or meaningful. I purchased a Vita near launch and bought my first game from the store just last month. I have purchased many games online though. This can be applied to every console, tracking sales from vendors works for consoles but is incredibly unreliable for game sales as more people shift to online purchases.

Many Bluray disks cost 30+bucks when they come out. Nowadays production costs for most games rival or are higher than most movies only there is no box office for games. That alone makes it difficult. Tack in the used game market. Then there are unrealistic gamer demands. .. we all want 1080p, 60 fps, amazing AI, amazing physics, full blown open world, 40+hour games, with mind blowing plots, excellent voice acting, and top notch sound tracks, and don't forget it has to have an awesome well...
I switched to comcast business.. it isn't too much more and no caps. Supposedly you have significantly better support too.
I wouldn't start criticizing until we see the numbers hitting the game. Who knows it may truly be just that big of a hit.
Well not having a story makes it an easier sell if the next iteration goes multi console. The newcomers haven't missed the story.
Is there a word that Phil Spencer says that doesn't make its way to an article on here? Or does he really have that much to say?

This is why you shouldn't make arguments when you have no understanding what you are talking about.. Even the small fragment that you quoted even makes you sound like a complete idiot to anyone reading... it does not store 6gb all at once... The tiling is an alternative to storing the whole texture at once. Tiling is nothing new and there is nothing stopping such techniques anywhere else... It is not special to esram... Didn't realize the pre orders were so high to warrant this. I haven't been keeping up though. Should be some pretty interesting numbers this week. The game has definitely garnered alot of attention. New console gens are always so interesting to follow.

Agreed... often enough the numbers have favored Sony incorrectly. I think there are just a accuracy issues.
Wierd. These numbers don't match what I'm seeing on vgchartz.... The page must not be dynamic and they have been adjusting numbers since this post.
The game is doomed to fail because there is no demo. Sony has failed the gaming community... This is completely unforgivable! /s
Heaven forbid anyone actually be excited for a new game... We should all be over critical and cynical because we don't have enough of that.... /s

In the article's comments someone actually used the average console sales per country to say the xbox was selling better than the ps4... A new low has been reached...

It couldn't be because there are alot more titles that are worse on the x1...Also the media in general would never pounce on an issue like the spec differences between consoles to feed out controversial stories to inflate hits to their sites. People are also not purchasing more ps4s than x1s pretty much everywhere across the globe...
