Most anticipated game in history? I feel that the hype for this game is relatively low this time around.
Pumped for this game. It's going to be a great experience no matter what platform you play it on.

Good point. It was one of the main selling reasons for the ps2 and the ps1. I never knew anybody that did not have chipped consoles so they could play burnt games.....
The down turned economy has had little affect on gaming other then a few studios that had closed down because such high investment in a game that bombed.
Other then that, the poor economy has had very little influence on teh gaming market. Heck, we have been watching the gaming market grow during this slow economic period.
Gamers still buy games in droves. Hardware is still selling very well for MS, Nintendo and Sony. I really don't see the economy...

I was predicting a holidya 2012 launch with Halo 4 as a launch title(will get a dual release on both the next box and 360). I don't think there would be a better way of launching the next iteration of the console.
A launch during holidays 2012 would also be the next box launching during the 1st quarter of the 2013 fiscal year.
More then likely though, it will launch during the 1st quarter of 2014 fiscal year.
Pumped for next gen. Next year is going to be an exciting time in the gaming industry!!!!
i think they should take a year or two off and develop a brand new engine to fix all the problems the current one has.... Plus 2 years of no CoD will lead to hype for epic proportions when the next gen one is showed.
