Good for them. They have every right to take action.

lol, guess sony wants to get their asses handed to them again by nintendo.

I have to agree. I played battlefield 2: modern combat and it was a good game, but BFBC and BFBC 2 is when the series really shined on consoles. IMO, BFBC2 perfected the core gameplay for the series and they should of stuck with it(on consoles of course). The maps in BFBC2 are much much better also....have the time I feel like I am playing a bigger CoD map with controlled points of confrontation....DICE, STOP WITH THE CREATED CHOKE POINTS, it's killing your game....Harvest Day, End of t...

From a financial perspective? Definitely.

From a gamer perspective? NO

No, we don't want a remake of CoD4. What we want is the game to return to the QUALITY that CoD4 was.

Give the game a rest for 2 or 3 years. New engine, fix freakin spawn system, SOUND SOUND SOUND,get some inspiration for the sound engine form the battlefield series, MAP SYMMETRY, this make maps a circle within a circle within a circle and then putting as much nook and cranies and making each map a cluster f**k is not innovation. Simplicity is sometimes the best thing!...

Agreed. CoD4 had the the best maps of the Modern Warfare series.

Black OPS was in the right direction in heading back to that symmetry. But of course inferior ward had to f**k it up.

5300d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

No. Modern Warfare 2's spawn system was broken. Modern Warfare 3's spawn system is just plain f**ked up....Only Inferior Ward can take a 2 year old problem and make it worse lol...But hey, that's what happens when you are run by a corporation that likes to f**k over it's talented employees. They leave to greener pastures.

That's insane.

Lol, CoD has no learning curve. There is no reason to reward bad players.

the only thing i don't like about the article is their launch prediction....there is no way that Microsoft will launch in the spring/summer. Production will either be moved up to meet a Nov 2012 launch or it will launch in Nov 2013.

funny.

But as a devoted bf player, I am the exact opposite and really, it's the cod players that camp in a corner lol. spend an hour playing and you will find at minimum two people sitting in a corner that has a shadow lol.

Me, I am more of run around with aa12 and dual machine pistols. Love the sound of hearing the player I just killed getting all mad.

I've played Uncharted 3, it's a corridor shooter with a little bit of platforming, just like UC1 and UC2.

There is only so much you can optimize when the hardware you are working with is 6 years old. Doesn't matter how much you optimize, eventually you hit the point where you have to make sacrifices and that is exactly the point developers have hit.

Whether they sacrifice resolution, textures, AA, draw distances, it doesn't matter, what...

Yes, we have hit the point that devs, in order to make advancements in one area, have to make sacrifices in another. For instance, BF3 does not run at 1280x720p.

Or you want to take a game like Uncharted 3? Sure it looks alright, but it's just a corridor shooter, so I wouldn't use that as an indicator that that games are looking better and need more advancements.

Gears of War 3? Same as uncharted 3.

Open world games like Skyrim...

Wow, I got 3 disagrees about saying the Wii-U is a next gen console because it's a new console? dang you three that disagreed must have only started gaming this generation if you thing a console generation is based on how powerful a console is....

5306d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment

@Dmarc

It's a next gen console because it's a next gen console lol. A console generation is not based on how powerful the hardware is.....

5306d ago 4 agree4 disagreeView comment

console generations are not based on the hardware. The Wii is current generation console along with the Xbox 360 and PS3.

The Wii-U is a nextgen system along with the next xbox and ps4.

Finally somebody wrote an article that gets it.

5308d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

You can't really say the Wii-U is going to be mildly more powerful because we don't know the official hardware.

Heck, there have been rumors ranging from mildly more powerful like you stated to the Wii-U having a modified AMD7xxx series gpu and 3-5 gigs of ram.

Basically, nobody knows what really is under the hood. People should wait on making such claims about how powerful the Wii-U is because Sony might just do the same. People are so quick to f...
