360 is still going strong - yes, it's going strong right now. What happens when there is nothing to play but multiplats and kinect games until Halo 4 comes out? It's better to be prepared for the future then wait for the future to kick you in the ass. The 360 would be on the market for 7 years in November 2012. Do you really think the people barely buying a Xbox 360 right now would buy a brand new xbox? The sales are coming from casual ...

All these rumors has thrown everybody off lol so I would like to clarify a bit, but this is just how I have understood it.
The first rumors that popped up where the Xbox "loop" about a week or two ago on MSNerd's blog. Basically as I have understood the rumors, this is more of a competitor to the likes of Apple TV and Google TV or whatever it's calle...
Loop is a competitor to Apple TV. basically it's Xbox TV with the ability to play some kinect games. Think of it as a trojan horse to get more kinects in households for the uber casuals.
that's a load of bs. BF3 plays nothing like the bad company series....anybody that calls BF3 Bad Company 3 has not played Battlefield 3.
as a huge battlefield fan, bf3 reuses some assets from bc and bc2...some of the buildings are pretty much exactly the same....
btw, cod4 is mw lol.
I would make fun of this, but activision/infinity ward is not the first nor will be the last company to reuse assets from a previous title....

Makes no sense. According to MSNerd's website, xbox loop is due to launch in 2013. Windows 9 won't be out until 2014....Plus this would be the opposite of what we have been hearing from the likes of AMD. This sounds more like a completely different product from the xbox 360's successor...sounds more like a competitor to the likes of apple tv with casual gaming possibilities....Microsoft will commit suicide if they go the Wii route with the xbox successor....
Only one thing EA/DICE should learn from the CoD series....not to be like it....Battlefield should have it's own identity....CoD should have it's own identity...
Don't try to emulate CoD. Battlefield has it's own soul....people play it because 1. it's NOT a corridor shooter and 2. the destruction....
BF3 they made to many narrow corridor maps and removed a lot of the destruction....
