I can see people's opinoins of it being overrated...personally the fact I can still play Halo 3 today 3 years after release and it be fun is a testament of how good the game is (to me).
Hopefully Bungie can impress the haters with their multiplat game (even though I kinda hope it's not a shooter)
I can respect that....I tend to like the lots of bullet kills....it's more a game of who can outmaneuver the other while being shot as opposed to games like COD (though fun) where it's generally who sees who first. In halo, I have a shot (and often succeed) in killing the guy who tailed me shooting at me.
Halo is it's own style of FPS and not everyone is gonna like everything but I can respect your ability to talk about it's faults without calling it the wors...

telekenetic , you haven't played Halo have you? First off, the armor lock is the worst 1v1 armor ability....all you're doing is giving me time to time a grenade and kill with one shot to the head after your shields are down.
AL = great for objective games

I would buy it if Reach wasn't around the corner and Starcraft 2 hadn't of come out. I'm also staring to enjoy MW2 again (hell is freezing over).

BC2 is ok but it got stale REAL quick because every game I played had snipers all over the place and since the maps are bigger, it's harder to get to them.....I would have loved the teamwork aspect of BC2....if anyone actually played as a team. Everyone goes lone wolf and I don't respect Dice for their "free DLC" which was just enabling modes on existing maps. I mean it's free but at least advertise it as such and not VIP new map packs.....

This is real simple for me.....I won't pay to play game online minus two particular games.
1) Starcraft 2 - it's just that good plus the variety with all the customs as well as matchmaking
2) Halo: Reach - I enjoy Halo games a lot and trust Bungie won't f**k us over with overpriced stuff....I'll get a good product back for my money with maps and them supporting the game. I don't trust Activision with that.
