The only doubt I have is that they have another COD game due out in 2 years after this one....I'm hoping the team is big enough to pull a Bungie and support/moderate their old games while creating the new ones

I still have my doubts but everything seems like they realize that more is not better.....Hopefully they can balance that more into something playable.
I have fun with MW2 but there's games where there is just too much noobtubing or Lightweight, Marathon, Commando going on and I back out before I break something

This is one of those under the radar games....I enjoyed the original but improvements could have been made. Will keep an eye on this one
These console wars are pointless....I have an xbox solely for Reach and Gears....I buy my multiplats (multiplayer focused on 360 because I already have Live for Halo) and I buy my blurays and PS3 exclusives on PS3......it's the way I work (most of my friends have a 360 or will when reach comes out)
Eh, it's certainly not the worst announcement but I'm looking for new IPs from everyone including Microsoft (as I check on my preorder for Reach and Killzone 3)

Congrats to PS3 owners (really, just own both and stop bickering).
It's a fantastic game and you will love it in general.
However, I have to note how all PS3 fanboys were saying it's not "exclusive" because they could play it on their PC yet this is almost to 200 comments saying how it kills the xbox and such....you can't have it both ways. It was either exclusive to xbox 360 or not.

1) It's a prequel to the Halo trilogy and it involves when Reach got glassed by the Covenant and according to Bungie...the actions of Noble team helped propel Master Chief to be able to do his thing in Halo 1-3
2) That's kinda the definition of prequel. However, it's a fully fleshed out story and we know how it ends but nothing about the process it takes to get there......

People can create custom campaigns where on 360 and now PS3...that can't happen

I deeply respect her fervor due to her son being killed over in Afghanistan but this lies under the tried and true......don't do it if you don't want it to effect you. Parents shouldn't buy the game for their kids and they wouldn't be brainwashed as people have tried in the past (so fault parents), if families lost loved ones in the war (hearts go out to them like anchor said) I doubt they would be interested in buying a game about said war...makes perfect sense to me.

Never played the Tales games'.....might pick them up one day but I'm an FPS lover over JRPG and there's too many good ones out.
I do love me some RPGs though and in general, there are just too many awesome games out to be able to play them all

I'm shocked....I know you can't reply so feel free to message me but this is common. I think if Halo went to PS3 (despite the PS3 fanboys arguments....look at their reaction to ME2 now and their reaction to ME2 in Feb) it would outsell COD easily.
I don't play sales though, I play games and Reach will win out over Black Ops (could still be fun) unless Treyarch suddenly le...
