Well, I'm gonna see what Frank and the boys at 343 do with Halo. I won't be buying either next gen console for a while. I'll go the PC route for a few months if I have to. I want most of the console kinks worked out and figure out where they're going as best I can.
I primarily game on 360 right now instead of my PS3 for a couple reasons:
1) Halo is just fun to play for me

and a lot of people take Halo's concepts...what's your point? If you don't think people share ideas, you're dumb. Naughty Dog had quite a bit of help from Bungie coming up with UC2 Multiplayer....Should we say ND took some of their ideas so it's less of a game?
Did I say the real team was there....there are several people there that I trust not to screw things up....Frank was there when Halo was created...I think he knows the ins and outs of Halo at this point. If there's only 2 people, it's nice to have them in a spot of power to oversee things, don't you think KatStacks?
AGAIN, Bungie is not owned by Acti...all Acti gets is a piece of profit....they own the publishing rights to the IP for the next 10 years.....they don't control anything Bungie does beyond they can't take that specific IP to EA or MS or Sony to publish.

They probably did get tired of halo games and for good reason but Activision isn't the end all be all of evilness....people need to stop overreacting. They publish games.....if you like the game, buy it...if you don't, then don't....this isn't some holy war or anything. I think people need to get their priorities straight if they're not buying an awesome game like SC2 because Activision is slightly involved (and I say slightly...Blizzard isn't controlled by Activision...

I've played about 30 mins of SC:C and I'm enjoying it a lot. For 20 bucks it's a steal
First off, you're the scum of the gaming community for pirating it....but you go back to normal level when you didn't mention any spoilers and you went to gamer level again when you said you're buying it anyway.

The worst part about Reach coming out is whether I should focus on MW2 until it does so I don't get out Haloed when Reach hits. Reach is quite different but it is still Halo.....and even too much Halo can be too much

I didn't like Oblivion much at all while I loved (and continue to do so) ME and DA series....I didn't buy Awakening or the DLC for either because I just don't have the money to spend on those with so many great full games coming out this year but I'm awaiting Dragon Age 2 and certainly ME3
They've almost ruined what was once a great developer....it's sad really
Playing SC2, Halo 3 campaign and multi and MW2 (somehow have 34 hours in that game and it's fun despite the frustrating parts...cold blooded is amazing at reducing frustrating deaths)

Completely agree Grunt, 343 headed by Frank O' Connor (former Bungie higher-up and worked on the original Halo games) cna head up a new Halo game while Bungie can move on to something new...It's like 2 bungie games at a time now which is something I'm more than ok with
Last I heard, it would be 3 seperate multiplayer ladders.
One for WOL, one for HOTS and WOL, one for WOL, LOTV. Not sure the particulars they're looking for but that's what I heard in an interview a while back....of course it's always subject to change
and they never said it would be free additions....this isn't the age of free anymore...get used to it

Someone with sense is hard to find these days on the internet. I've never played a Treyarch game so it's hard to judge but I like what I see so far.
