Curious.....everyone talks about it being the same game...what's so different in GT5? (I've never played them) but I imagine a racing game can't really change too much. It's just upgraded graphics and new cars.

Um, 1 multiplayer and 1 singleplayer trailer plus a small 5 minute demo from E3 was plenty of time?

Yay for simple science......it's better ventilation which makes it seems hotter when it's innards (why not?) are in fact cooler than the old models
I like the overall vision they were going with....but I think they went too far with it and there's some serious balance issues....I can't stand Commando and Akimbo shotguns....Also, the shotguns that can shoot from range.....that shouldn't happen.
I felt like there was a bit much going on in that game. I have fun most of the time even though I'm not good (.8 K/D) but I get tired of dying by stupid things like predator missiles or the horrible spawns.....I me...
I'm thinking about picking it up....I'll get it for 40 bucks using a 20 dollar credit from Reach and I'll get a 20 dollar credit from Black Ops (if I preorder) so it's almost like I'm paying 20 bucks for it which isn't bad even if it turns out like MW2.
I'll need to see more as we get closer to release but looks like they removed some of my most hated things about MW2 (commando, OMA) and hopefully they took out akimbo shotguns that act like snipers...
3 in 2 years is a bit miuch but 6 in 10 isn't bad.....God of War has had 5 games in 5 years including PSP games so if anything is a cash-in or being milked, that's as good a candidate as any
You should go back....the textures in that game are awful compared to MW2.....MW2 graphics aren't amazing but man, watched a youtube video of both and it's ridiculous how much better textures and graphics as a whole are

I would hope Treyarch realizes the mistakes made and realizes that eventually even the idiotic consumers of today will catch on and slowly kill COD....they like having a job so I think they'll do their best.
No game is perfect...not even Halo as far as balance goes but it looks a lot better from the small sample we've gotten....time will tell

I've said time and time again, COD has it's issues...some big ones but it's still fun to play. I have days where I play a couple games get so fed up because it's problems show up more than it's fun points and move to something else. I have days where it's the opposite.

Technically a new COD game is made every year but each COD studio has two years to make a game.....so comparing each game to a sports game is a bad comparision
I'm not a huge fan of COD games but I gotta say...it's funny all the hate this game gets. Does the MP have some issues? Absolutely but MW2 is still pretty fun to play once you realize those issues.
How about you wait until the beta and/or game comes out before judging it? I would have said Arkham Asylum was gonna be a so so game after all the batman games that came out before it and I would have been wrong.

It has to do with how fun the game is...this isn't rocket science. It also depends how much variety and how deep the multiplayer is.
I'm sure I'll get disagrees but a prime example is Halo. There are so many playlists (if you have map packs) with different gametypes such as CTF, Slayer, Griffball, action sack (just a bunch of hilariously fun gametypes with no exp)....add that to endless support by Bungie up until their next game (way longer than some devs suppor...
me and COD have a love hate relationship.....I have fun playing but I hate the brokenness in it. I hope I can get into the BO beta because that may be the only way to buy it for me.

We'll see what happens....everyone fell in love with MW2 and thought it would be balanced and look what happened there.
If Black Ops can truly balance the game with all the killstreaks and everything, I'll be utterly amazed and very interested in the game. I like the change of pace of COD games being a bit faster paced in game speed but I hate them for their unbalance and (imo) lack of skill needed as opposed to other games.

It's a publishing deal and they have no say on what Bungie does with their game.

Well if pirating is the reason, why spend more money having a seperate team to develop the overhead PC camera and the entire game with respect to the PC. It just doesn't make sense. They divided their resources and come out with one product decidedly better than the other (PC version >> Console).
