I suspect this game might release this year and a next gen port in 2020, just don't think it will release on Thursday 28th of November as that's thanksgiving.
They have expanded their workforce considerably and are taking grants of the Polish government which ends at the end of the year so that might push towards a late 2019 release for the Christmas market. There was also a financial report indicating the aims if CDPR to release cyberpunk in 2019 financial year and a Witcher game in 2021.
Have a sneaky feeling this will release fall 2019 and then the cross hen port in 2020. I don't think it will specifically bring in more cyberpunk future sci fi games still think fantasy like elder scrolls, witcher is more popular.
I think we can say with near certainty that Nemesis and Code Veronica are coming in the next few years. It's an easy money maker Capcom you would question them if they didn't do it.
Not interested if true, sounds more like loot squad than suicide squad. 6 months ago there was rumours of WB Montreal doing another Batman game set before Asylum where you had to take on The Court of Owls which to me sounds better.
I am predicting about 400-450 Euro where I am from.
True and considering its releasing in mid November perfect time for the Christmas market where it will pick up a lot of causal sales regardless whether its good or not.
They really should have shown gameplay to ease worries as EA's reputation is in the trash at the minute. Think back to Andromeda and where did they didn't show anything until near release and went very quiet on the game build up as we know now with hindsight it was a poor game and they knew it.
If the product is as good as they claim they really should have shown actual gameplay with the lightsaber as the timing is perfect no other major announcements this month and would ha...
The Last Of Us 2 and Death Stranding will likely be cross gen, as for PS5 only Sony Japan will have a game for launch then your looking at Bloodbourne 2 Gran Turismo, GoW, HZD 2, Spiderman 2 and whatever game Naughty dogs second team may be working on.
The Order 1886 was rubbish doesn't deserve a sequel, Sony should invest in trying to revive Syphon Filter, Warhawk/Starhawk, SOCOM, Resistance and Heavenly Sword.
This goes wrong it will be third time Bioware have released a dude this gen, Dragon Age is their last hope as Mass Effect and and Anthem are tainted. From the article EA are clearly the problem and with online only a possibility, it will kill the game from the start.
You have to imagine by now they have got to grips with the Frostbite engine so development might not be so turbulent.
A release date preferably.
I like the new AC games don't get me wrong, loved origins and Odyssey and excited to see where they go next. I got burned out playing them I didn't bother pick up syndicate but then Origins came along which was different and which to me seemed the developer got bored of making AC games but just kept the name.
Still though the potential with Ninja vs samurai, Europeans arriving bringing muskets you have serious potential right there, I actually think we don't do enough or appreciate Japan as it's a beautiful country with rich history.
You know what I mean by assassin, one hit kill against the target, now if your not up a certain level you will have to battle the target more akin to Dragon Age, Witcher and other rpgs.
The series has now evolved where it's not really AC anymore as your not an assassin, it's a more action RPG more closer to the Witcher especially now that they will definitely have mythical creatures in this one and same again for the inevitable China, Japan setting.
Point is I wish Ubisoft would have the courage to make their own open world action RPG and quit using the AC name.
I was hoping for an announcement at E3 last year but sadly didn't come as Sam Fisher was in Ghost Recon wildlands so I am still expecting some announcement as no AC game this year so it might be announced at E3 this year for release this winter.
Couldn't have predicted this setting but willing to see how it goes as the last 2 AC games are really action rpgs so a Norse AC should be fantastic. In the future they should also do Shogun Japan.
Its fairly obvious that games developers are predominately male whether its in Europe, North America or Japan and the customers predominately male too. So its natural that the main playable characters in video games will be male although not exclusively eg Bayonetta, Horizon.
Thankfully the Japanese are not going to care what the sjw's think.
I know their Polish and sure I am Irish we don't do thanksgiving either but they would be heavily reliant on the American market for sales as the game is a first person shooter. Do you not think releasing black Friday week is a bit odd as its a new IP and needs all the help it can get to establish a fan base.
