Hopefully its true, this might explain why GoW got no dlc considering the games open world design was highly suited for it, they were busy developing this sci fi game Dark Side.
I remember a few years ago Sony Santa Monica were supposed to be working on a sci fi game but was reported to be shelved, perhaps it was resurrected and could possiby be used as a PS5 launch title? pure speculation but they need something to justify customers spending likely 450 dollars on a new system ad we haven't heard of other PS5 exclusive launch titles.
SSM are a big studio so likely have 2 teams with one obviously on GoW and the other hopefully a new sci fi IP.
The only way I can see a AAA MGS game is if Konami license it out to another developer like Sony for example or even contract a developer to remake MGS 3 snake eater, imagine that game with better graphics more open world and getting to fight The End again.
Sure its years away from release according to financial reports, it'll be on next gen consoles so whats the point announcing it this early? Have bioware no other game in development bar this? EA has destroyed them, they were once one of the best developers in the world.
His point is for reviews like the one that gave it 3/10 which is ridiculous unless the game was broken and unplayable you don't give such a low score or Edge not bothering doing their jobs and actually reviewing it.
They are sitting on some great IPs, if their too incompetent or lazy to develop them license them out to a developer who will, its win win and Konami can still be earning loads of money from their other divisions which they already are.
Exactly the suits gave the green light to make a game solely around MT's rather than develop a game appealing to their fan base. Glad this garbage is backfiring on them, if their successful every game in the future will be advertisement/commercial land 4.99 for the off-road commando pack etc..
Doubtful unless they expanded their studio, Ghosts of Tsushima is without doubt cross gen, in fact many titles next year will release on both gen consoles to maximize sales: Cyberpunk 2077, Halo, Assassins Creed and the rumoured Batman game from WB Montreal.
The hope is that the commercial/Critical success of RE2 will give the kick to Capcom remakes or reboots to their old successful IP's.
Hopefully yes and Onimusha as well where they can take inspiration from God of War and the upcoming Star Wars: Jedi fallen order.
Please show us more gameplay
My issue is they had a 6 score ready by Friday morning but purely delayed review by a week for cover so it wont affect ad revenues as stated below.
They took their time reviewing that garbage, games designed around micro-transactions.
How do you expect to find a husband with that carry on?
Exactly a quick cash grab, the long term consequence of this game succeeding is Capcom prioritizing garbage games like Project Resistance instead of RE Nemesis, Code Veronica, Onimusha etc. For the life of me I still cant figure out why they haven't developed a Sequel or remake to Onimusha.
Capcom did state they were surprised how gamers loved RE2 Reamake and exceeded expectations sales wise which show how out of touch they are with their consumer base.
This game looks garbage, nobody asked for it and its not even a proper successor to Outbreak which if done right could have been an absolute gem of a game.
Personally I hope Project Resistance bombs badly to teach Capcom to give fans what we want like eg RE2 remake, if this game succeeds in the slightest it will only encourage them to develop more crap like this and the race to the bottom begins.
My only disappointment is we didn't get to see more gameplay off TLOU 2 and more info on Ghosts of Tsushima, that E3 2018 gameplay trailer was ridiculously good.
Do you know if its just the Second Sister Inquisitor in this game or will they have more?
Anybody know will the demo be streamed or released public or is it behind closed doors only?
Halo CE for me will always be the best, Halo 2 with that E3 demo that never materialized in the released game left a sour taste.
