These should be thirty dollars at best. But of course Rockstar can get away with charging full price for remasters of twenty year old games. Nostalgia sells these days!
They need to remaster GTA IV but I bet that won’t happen. It’s considered the least favorite among the trilogy and V. Not for me though. It’s my favorite!
Same. I’m not into games that take hours upon hours of practice to get good. It’s why I don’t play souls games. And IMO this game is harder than the Souls games. Playing for hours and having progress that you can lose all of in a matter of seconds? Is what I would call brutal.
I know some people like this game, but it’s difficulty is NOT for everyone. It’s the most punishing and frustrating game I’ve ever played besides Nioh. You will play for hours upon hours and make no progress at all until the time finally comes when you “get good”.
That is impossible to do with a mere remaster.
I’d pay full price for a remaster of GTA IV. I may be in the minority, but it’s my favorite GTA.
It’d be nice, but honestly I’m not even looking forward to whatever GTA 6 will be. It will be some sort of GAAS title where paid content is released over time and then three years later they release the Definitive edition.
The Last of Us Remake is very nonsensical. The game is considered a timeless classic just eight years on. I see absolutely no reason for it to be remade other than for a cash grab tie in with the upcoming series on HBO.
R* won’t sell anything that isn’t proven to sell tens of millions. The gaming landscape has changed immensely since this game was announced and game development is too expensive and takes too long to incentivize making new IP’s.
People still think this game is coming?! We shall be lucky if we ever get a new IP from R*.
Exactly! GTA Online is still doing extremely well and releasing a new entry could cut into the sales and take players away from GTA online. People will also be expecting some kind of update to the online mode and that is easier said than done considering Rockstar’s unwillingness to mess with the GTA online formula.
Everybody already knows what R* has become as of a long time ago! This article is needless.
They won’t add much to them if it’s true. It will just be a simple remaster. There’s no need for them to add anything and they know it. It will still sell amazingly well.
Go look at the sales numbers and get back with us. It’s definitely not a failure.
Nothing compares to the OG Resident Evil. There is a vibe and overall eeriness to the game that doesn’t get matched by any other RE title IMO. A big part of that is the soundtrack, which is my favorite of all RE’s.
If it wasn’t hard they would get knocked for it. That’s what people look for in these games.
30 minutes in the beginning of Death Stranding is about 90% cutscene. The game is basically an expensive interactive movie.
Yeah, the article says the studio consists of game development veterans. The devs have at least 15 years experience in game making.
RDR 2 is impressive. I don’t think any open world game will match its scope for a long time. That much polish and attention to detail in a game of that size is truly an impressive gaming feat.
It feels very clunky to control both the flashlight and the gun at the same time. That and the camera are my only complaint.
