They’ve already done it right in GTA IV imo. It’s my fav GTA location, but I’m more open to Vice City for this outing.
Sony has nearly every single one of their first party studios working on a multiplayer game. Which means a live service game. I foreshadow single player games taking a huuuuge backseat when these games start releasing and Sony starts making bank off them.
I refuse to be optimistic that it comes out this year.
There aren’t really too many cross gen games left for release that we know of. GOW Ragnarok will most likely be the last cross gen title from Sony and I think this will be the last year for it. So it is set to end relatively soon.
Exactly. It’s reached a certain point for me where it’s like ok give me the exclusive games that I bought my system for. Not cross-gen games I can play on the older system instead.
I have way much more fun playing HFW than Elden Ring. Elden Ring is mostly spent wondering a barren landscape with extremely difficult enemies throughout. It can get pretty boring and progress seems fleeting at times.
If you just run through the main quests I can’t imagine how unfulfilling HFW may be. The world is what makes the game great.

I know it’s a PS3 game but it’s a crime that I can’t play GTA IV in my PS5. It and Red Dead Redemption. And that’s the truth.
Konami has intentionally murdered several of their biggest franchises. Silent Hill, Castelvania, and now MGS. I don’t think they really care about making big hits anymore.
The PS5 is a great console, but I’d say the PS5 is uglier than the fat PS3.
So it can be just like every other game that’s made today? Games are going to take longer and longer to make the more open and bigger people expect them to be.
People are ready for her to dual wield pistols and be the classic Tomb Raider in the new games.
Because it was overhyped for years which leads to disappointment.
I remember The Last Guardian. That game was unbelievably overhyped and anticipated for years.
No, Nintendo was first. They dropped out in 2013 and that’s when the decline started for sure. I mean of course it was going to go downhill when major companies start abandoning ship.
Well it’s one of the first games that will be released using UE5. Making it truly next gen. So graphics like these are what we are hopefully in for in the near future.
