I know it sounds crazy, but Callisto Protocol and GoW are both too far out to get hyped. Delays happen too often these days.
I don’t expect it to be enormously better. But if you play it on the PS5 with Pulse 3D headphones it will likely look and sound a lot better than the original.
The answers are simple to many developers. Listen to the players. But casual gamers who don’t care are the ones that aren’t talking. And they generate the most revenue for the industry.
Why can’t developers understand that we don’t want our favorite franchises turned into some live service game where the devs can do way less due to the sale of MTX. It’s like nah let’s just sit on our ass and watch people purchase MTX while we do as little as possible. Then in about five years we will make a sequel.

Of course they have to show off new hardware plenty early. Especially when it’s still kind of niche. But Sony has gotten a bit cocky this gen. They’ve raised prices amidst a global pandemic and inflation, increased microtransactions, and don’t feel the need to show off their games until the last minute. As if they think they don’t need to because the Sony label speaks for itself and we should pay a premium for their games.
Pragmata is one of those Capcom games that is going to take a long time to see the light of day I feel. I know it’s scheduled for next year but Capcom is very tight lipped about it. Which suggests it’s further off than anticipated.
I don’t think a multiplayer game from one of Sony’s top first party developers will come free but we will see I guess. I do think it will be a live service game but I do expect some sort of price to be attached to it.
If they released it again with Factions included it would attract new and old fans alike. Which is not what they want with that mode. They want all players to flock to the new live service multiplayer game they are creating. They won’t release anything related to multiplayer right now because they don’t want to potentially detract from the new game when it releases. We will be lucky if we even get anything related to single player if their live service game really takes off. Which I susp...

They’ve made 24 million in two weeks from MTX alone. Of course they will never go away. All you have to do is look at the numbers to realize that MTX will always be here to stay. And they will get worse and worse until free to play games loaded with micro transactions are all that is left. This is what the game industry is slowly heading towards. They are just getting us primed.

Hahaha Kingdom Hearts 4 is still in early development. It’s probably another 4-5 years out.
It will come out in 2028 just in time for it to be a cross gen title for PS5 and PS6.
And it was their first open world game so naturally…
