Im still trying to finish uncharted3 and i agree its a very watered down game and i picked it up excited at a midnight launch.
Sony has a history of taking away and removing features you paid for. I personally will not buy from psn because of the way they have handeled backwards compatability , other operating systems, and ps plus rentals. The real point even after licensing and retail cuts they still made more on the 360 then any other platform so I imagine you will see EA go more to the 360 in the future. According to n4g in the past the ps3 is where EA makes money and Activision is the 360. It looks like n4g was wrong about the 360 again as EA and Activision all make more money off the 360 then sony machine. These are all facts I stated btw.

Poor ps3 gamers always complaining about getting the short end of the stick but never once looking at the possibility that there console has limitations and Sony has done the same tactics with the ps2 and some with the ps3. I'm just not a fan of quicktime events and push this button at a certain time or you fail. That's really all heavyrain was other than the detective portion which LA Noire rips it a new one on. He just makes interactive movies and that will always be a niche audience like motion controls are.
You must have bought the ps3 version of skyrim as it has been known a long time its unstable. The 360 and pc is where skyrim should be played and they should not release a ps3 version if the system or developers can't handle the game port.
I have to give kevin butler a lot of respect for that very unbiased quote. In the end we are gamers to the core and the system or systems we play them on are just that systems as the games do the talking and there is more than enough great games on all 3 consoles that no one should be feeling superior to someone else for there gaming preference.
The problem is you can't run 99 percent of ps3 games without installs to the hardrive or you will have insanely slow load times from the blu ray drive and if you take your console onlin you have to have firmware updates. This model will not work for sony and if they do put it out they will be sued and tarnish there image evenmore.
I think kinect has potential just not in hardcore gaming. The move is another copy and paste of nintendos machine to try to garner some support to sony and it failed miserably. Kinect did not fail but a lot of people are questioning its merits as a controller in my hand does everything and more a lot better. Even if the tech was perfect I think this argument would still be here as getting up and using your body does not set we'll with core gamers.

I would say a univesal trophy system tacked on after the ps3 launch is more a blatant rip off of microsofts achievement system. Sony is known for borrowing whats popular at the time and adding it in.
